Romantic meal for two

My husband and I had a really special romantic meal for two on a recent trip to Prague. A friend recommended this as a 'must do'! I am so glad we did. I booked this restaurant to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. We were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent and we were given complimentary desserts, his complete with candle. There is a lovely cosy atmosphere in the cave and is suitable for either a romantic meal or for a group. I would certainly go there again. It was worth... More

We went as a special treat for a 40th birthday. Although the cave was a interesting environment, The restaurant was very quiet And lacking atmosphere. There were only 2 couples in the restaurant both English. The food was distinctly average and far from fine dining. The price was in line with a high end london restaurant and was far from... More

Dear guest. We always appreciate reviews as a feedback, but I am forced to refuse yours. You are telling just a half of a story. I can accept your comment about just two tables in a restaurant, yes it was a true, but it was also in the middle of lowest season of the year. Maybe the biggest mistake was... More

This is by far the best place I've ever eaten in. The location and ambience is stunning and the food experience is well worth a Michelin Star. Personnel is not intrusive or "fake" and they do not disturb you during the dining experience asking if food is good at every course. They didn't need to because they know the food... More

A friend told me about this restaurant and I'd like to spread the word. We had a fantastic meal here and were really well worked after by very knowledgeable staff. They explained each course on our traditional 'degustation' menu beautifully, the wine pairings were perfect and the food was delicious but did not leave you feeling uncomfortable (I don't mean... While we were here on a Thursday night in January, we were the only people in the restaurant. The location was also in the middle of nowhere outside the city and next to the zoo. It was in a residential quiet area. The food was EXCELLENT but the ambiance and being alone was strange. We ordered Pilsner and a bottle... More

Professional staff, knew about wines, served the best food we've had in a long time, and gave excellent service. Great atmosphere in the cosy cellar where time didn't seem to excist. We had nice conversations with the staff who where good at their job, polite and still with a great sence of humor. We just loved the place and its... More

My husband and I had a lovely time during Christmas week. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is one of a kind. Quite romantic and super cozy. We enjoyed the tasting menus and wine pairings. Very memorable!

Me and my wife were there couple days ago. The cave natural and perfect decorated and so romantic. Seated by the fireplace. Waiters profesional, friendly, gave us complete information about history, menu, recomended wine to our courses. I had a Foie Gras with caramelized apples - sauternes Ch. Armajan 09, Beef steak and mashed potatoes - Brio de Cantenac Brown... More
