We are non-smoking small family restaurant focused mainly on Czech cuisine. All of our meals are made without any glutamate, dyes, condiments and other preservatives. To flavor dishes we use just salt, pepper and fresh herbs. Come and try! Permanent menu starts at 3pm every weekday. The lunch menu is available from 11am till 3pm until then, but with very limited offer and especially for local people. Regular menu is then available all weekend plus we do weekend specials. Tram 3 is the best way to reach this hidden gem

Great traditional Czech food with a modern touch of class. Very industrial but warm feel to the place. The appetizers are very nice and the main courses are reasonable priced. The menu has many tempting choices for food, there is good selection of beers and wines, all local. The knowledge and presentation of the served wines amazed us. We selected quite traditional Czeck quisine, and everything tasted good, none of us were disappointed. Desserts crowned the experience. Once more I have to mention the staff, very friendly, warm and nice... More

We are only in Prague for two full days so relied on TripAdvisor for this restaurNt recommendation. We were not disappointed. A 25-30 minute walk from Old Town, it was refreshing to get off the beaten path and away from the thick crowds. We had made an easy online reservation and our table was ready even when we arrived 20... More

What a great evening at a great restaurant! The atmosphere was lively and the decor was artsy. A lot of locals ate there...that's always a good sign. We had the beef medallions and the stuffed chicken breast, both of which were delicious. There were several gluten-free options. The wine list was very good. The server was delightful, helpful and efficient.... More

A well traveled friend recommended this restaurant, noting that reservations were required. I made the reservations online before I left the U.S. So glad I did. During our 14-day tour of Europe, this was without question our best meal. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The waiter spoke excellent English (a plus). The price was more than... More

I saw this restaurant by chance one day I was walking up to Vysehrad. Then I went back the next day. It was fully booked, but luckily we could find a place on the little terrace outside. The food was delicious. I tried the duck and it was really tasty and the portion big! The waiters were nice even if... More

Very good restaurant with a good atmosphere 30 minutes walk from old town square. We ate the duck and was very pleased. Lots of good tasty traditional czech food for the money. Main course around 200 czech.

We were here for dinner on our way back to our hotel. Right off the Vysehrad tram stop on #17. What a great find; trendy, good food, ambiance, good service, and excellent food. The place was packed with locals which is always a good sign! You won't be disappointed!

Had a great dining experience at U Kroka. Pork tenderloin and duck leg were great, the french onion soup was good, but not fantastic. The restaurant was a little bit out of the way from our hotel (old town) but we walked back along the river, which was an unexpected treat!

Had a sirloin dish and ordered it medium rare and got it medium rare. It tasted great. The staff was friendly and I didn't wait long for the food.
