Made a reservation for our first night in Prague. Having come from Munich, the food here surpassed all expectations. Its a no frills type of place with great food. We had a snack before so didn't have enough room for appetizers or desserts but we did order the BBQ pork ribs & rabbit. Very good for a moderate price.

We chose 'U Kroka' restaurant for our Saturday dinner option. We took tram no. 3 from the centre and after a while we were seated next to our table. The restaurant is not artificially cheesy or too formal. The food is GREAT! We tried mainly Czech specialties. My beef gulash with bread knedliky was fantastic. From what I heard pork... More

Me and my girlfriend visited U kroka the second night we spend in prague. The waitress took our reservations and the first dishes came fast enough, but after that, for more than 45 minutes no one checked on us or came to our calls. The main dishes didn't come until we got up from the table and walked to one... More

Was a bit out of the way on our first night - but in daylight it was no distance at all. We took a tram along the river there. Walked in without reservatino for early dinner and the accomodated. I had rabbit with apples and cabbage. Husband had pork. The side dishes were delish and generous. The pate with currant... More

We took a taxi from our hotel in Hunger Wall to U Kroka. It took about 10 minutes and the fare wasn't expensive at all. We had made a reservation weeks ago and we were glad we had done that because the place was packed. I wanted to order the Wild Boar special but it was already sold-out that time.... More

We came across the name of this restaurant on tripadvisor, the number and content of the reviews were so convincing that it was impossible not to go there. We made reservations and asked for the directions beforehand, I'm glad that we did it because when we might not have found a table without reservation, and as it's located a bit... More

We lived this cute restaurant... The staff was overly friendly and the food was great. I loved the salad with the cranberry sauce. It's hard to get to and the bill was very reasonable!

Very original, could very well have been a typical czech dinning place if it wasn't for all the tourists, taking pictures of their plates etc thanks to the great reviews. Nevertheless, a great place to eat with very good food, impeccable service and low prices.

Visited here after reading reviews. Did book beforehand. Had a great meal. Portions are large so be warned but very tasty. Service was excellent even when busy and happy to order a taxi for our return to hotel, happy and full.

I've read a lot about how typical and chep this restaurant was, but the real surprise was the quality of service. We ate beautiful and tasty food, from the starters to the excellent pork knee to the dessert, and the waiters were extremely professional and polite. Must go
