We are non-smoking small family restaurant focused mainly on Czech cuisine. All of our meals are made without any glutamate, dyes, condiments and other preservatives. To flavor dishes we use just salt, pepper and fresh herbs. Come and try! Permanent menu starts at 3pm every weekday. The lunch menu is available from 11am till 3pm until then, but with very limited offer and especially for local people. Regular menu is then available all weekend plus we do weekend specials. Great food, great price

Fantastic food, The food took long time, but the resturant was also filled to capasity. However the very friendly staff compensated with free drinks. Warmly recommend a visit.

The service was excellent, the food was average to very good (depending on the meal- pork tenderloin was very good). We found some dishes overly salty ( duck liver, rabbit, veal). The wine was not the best so stick to the beer. It is a little off the beaten path and overall it was not the best meal we had... More

This is the best meal we had in Prague. It's not in the most touristy parts of town but we got there easily by taking tram 17. Everything we had (duck pate, potato soup, rabbit, ribs, dessert) was fantastic, a real treat. And it's pretty cheap for a restaurant of that quality (less than couple of places in Old Town... More

I've heard of U Kroka from a friend and his recommendation was spot on. I took two standard Czech dishes - the larded beef with creamy sauce and bread dumplings, and the potato dumplings with poppy seeds. Loved both of them!!!! I waited a bit in line as I didn't have reservations. Best make one if you're planning to dine... More

Dined with a party of 4 at this restaurant and we were all blown away! The service is excellent and the food is even better! I can't believe the quality off the food for such an affordable price. All of our meals and drinks were spot on...plus the waitress happily split our bill into 4. The desserts were the only... More

We were lucky to find this restaurant during ascending from Vysehrad. It has reasonable prices, excellent athmosphere. Food looked fantastic, it was enough and delicious. Staff was polite, we could not find anything to complain of.

We visited U Kroka while on holiday in Prague and enjoyed a delicious meal at a reasonable price, the atmosphere was friendly and the service was great! If you go there, get the raspberry lemonade, you won't be disappointed.

It is true that if you haven't heard or read about U kroka there is very small chance to find it by accident as it is located fairly far from the touristy centre of the city but the 15' walk is totally worth it! The portions were big, the service efficient and the prices quite logical for the quality offered.... More

Amazing food, polite and courteous service and a great experience for three for £15 each including drinks. Take the 15 min walk along the bohemian embankment and walk up to the Vysehrad viewpoints after. Make sure you book....they were turning people away all evening. Boneless pork was lovely, stuffed rabbit leg was delish! Don't miss it. We paid more for... More
