Delicious but more expensive than we thought

The food was very delicious and definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to which serves vegetarian food. The atmosphere is very cosy and kind of keen. It's like being in a magic forest where wiches live. But having a three-course meal was not as cheap as we thought. They know their food... read more

We visited for lunch with the family, including in-laws and 2 year old boy. We booked a table half an hour or so before and the very minute we entered the restaurant we were given our table. Actually they put us in a sort of private room with sofas that was just for us. It was great as our little... More

We were so happy that we tried this place (don't make me spell it again) and had the best server in Prague! David guided us through the choices with good humor and panned my friend's beer opinion in Avery clever way. Vegan boy had tons of vegan choices in addition to the veggie menu items that could be ordered vegan... More

We had a late lunch here (about 3.30pm) during our stay in Prague. At this time of day the kitchen is 'shut' so not all the menu choices are available but we were pleasantly surprised at the range of choices still available. We each had a different type of burrito with rice and both meals were really very tasty. Personally,... More

Went here for the third time recently. I had the goat cheese, spinach potato and the coconut lentil soup. Very good in my opinion. For such a specialty restaurant I think the prices are fairly reasonable. One thing that could be improved in my opinion is the drink menu. For non-alcohol drinks they have a great selection, but if you... More

Finding vegetarian food in Prague can be difficult and we were very impressed with the range of dishes on offer in this veggie/vegan restaurant. Hidden away down a small side street, you have to be buzzed into enter and you immediately feel the very warm and comfortable ambience. We ordered guacamole and nachos, and walnut pesto with pitta to start... More

My wife and I visited Prague for a long weekend on 21 Feb 2015. We are both Vegetarian and generally find good veg food hard to come by. So we checked Trip Advisor before leaving and as a result we pre-booked 3 vegetarian restaurants, (one for each day). We visited Lehka Hlava on our second day and had pre-booked for... More

We had dinner here on our first night in Prague. We had the big clear head platter to share which was excellent and very filling. We then had lunch here on our last day which was amazing value for money and delicious - just $5 (AUD) each for a soup followed by a stir fry main and water. My only... More

Lekha Hlava was recommended in my guidebook and I wasn't disappointed. They have a varied menu of drinks, food and desserts - I was pleasantly surprised by how much choice I had. I chose the goats cheese salad - it was a good size and came with bread. The ambience is very relaxed and the staff attentive. I'd definitely recommend... More

Very friendly staff and better food. Quite large menu, with different types of cuisines: burgers, Asian dishes, Italian, etc. Not many vegan options, but good enough. The place has a nice atmosphere and they were very efficient when serving us. Portions are very big. Around 10€ for main dish and beer.

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
