This is a perfect place to sit inside or outside to enjoy a tasty quick meal and a fine beer at low prices. Good choice, any time of the day.

My family and I were visiting Prague for our first time and going to the Christmas markets and figured we would chose a restaurant at random while we were walking. The outside of Kolkovna Celnice was warm and looked very welcoming so we went in. Upon entering we were shown to a table right away and seated. The whole place... More

Great beer, great platter of sausages and fried cheese on our first night in Prague. It was a Friday night and the crowd was great. Service was best. A must try in the Old Town.

Location is good (across from our hotel), stick to the Czech classics like soup and dumplings, pork in creamy sauce and goulash. Great choices of beer and nice house wine. We spent 800 Kc for two courses and drinks for two people.

I have enjoyed more than 8 delicious meals in this unpretentious , buzzing restaurant over the last three years. The experience is consistently very pleasant, food excellent, and the service is very polite and professional.Highly recommended.

I am really surprised by great reviews I am seeing here. I have very bad experience with this restaurant and remembering it still makes me angry after a year I was there. Maybe they treat tourists better and maybe it was too busy there. We were mixed group, two Czechs and one American, and as soon as waiter found out... More

The potato soup in bread bowls is excellent. It really hit the spot on a cold day. The lamb shanks were quite good. The service was crisp and efficient, serving a large group well. On the whole, it is worth visiting and revisiting.

My ferrite is the chicken schnitzel with potato salad, it is so good. The price is really affordable, the atmosphere is very cosy and the servie is good, food comes fast. Highly recommended if up to Czech traditional cuisine. Delicious !
