Great mexican food

I love their tacos. It was so good. The food is definitely the highlight of this place. Otherwise the service is OK, the decor is simple and nice. You can sit outside on the pavement - this is cool, just the street is usually busy of traffic. So perhaps would be better to go there later in the... read more

I only had the turkey breast with spinache and cheese, but this alone was the best Mexican dish I ever had. Will definetely come back for more when I visit Prague again!

I visit Cantina for a business lunch. I was really surprised how good the cuisine was. It was even better than the food I ate in Mexico:-) Highly recommended!

For starter a Mojito and then shrimp tacos - yum! I have never, unfortunately, been to Mexico but you can't find mexican food like this in sweden. Amazing! Great menu with something for everyone. For dessert I had an amazing Pina Colada to cool of before we walked it all of!

I have been living in Europe for the last 12 years and good Mexican food is not easy to find. I have been to Prague 3 times and have visited this restaurant every time. I highly recommend it and the neighborhood is lovely.

I had chicken with honey which was on the lunch menu here. The price was around 100 Kc which is much cheaper than most restaurants in this area. Given that I have had Mexican food often, I can't say that this is the best dish I've tried. But it's absolutely a decent one (with a big portion (!)). The beer... More

This is a small cool restaurant in Prague. Extremely good ambience, good beverages, decently priced. The food is good but not so authentic (in case you have tried the real deal), delicious non the less. It is very busy so better make a reservation if considering trying this place out.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
