We were thoroughly disappointed with our meal at La Cantina. The quesadilla was soggy, soaked in salsa. Who wants a quesadilla that doesn't crunch? By the time our mains arrived, I was wondering how good they would be - I couldn't fathom how the highest rated Mexican restaurant in Prague couldn't even manage a decent quesadilla. The prawn burrito was... More

Just left here tonight and we were exceptionally happy! Food was quick and fresh! Huge portions! Cheap prices! I had seen this on trip advisor and really wanted to go. However we did Walk past two or three times without realising it was there. It is beautifully decorated inside, but on the outside it is plain white and wouldn't realise... More

Returned happily to Cantina and again we were not disappointed, delicious guacamole served with crunchy nachos. As a main course my partner had their special, the quesadila with beef sirloin and I the quesadila with shrimps. Both courses were a perfect combination in taste. A big thanks to the friendly waiter in the red shirt who recommended a house tequila... More

My husband and I lived in the Southwest of the USA for ten years and became quite the Tex-Mex fans. We've lived in Germany for over forty years now, and really love it, when we can get good Mexican food. Crazy as it seems, while in Prague we had a craving for a Mexican dinner and read the reviews about... More

I lived in Texas for quite a while and dare say I know a thing or two about Tex-Mex cuisine. I would put the food at the Cantina against any Tex-Mex restaurant in Austin or Houston!

A cozy restaurant in Lesser Town. It realy brings Mexico to you. Delicious food, a wonderful interior, good service,...An absolute recommendation to find out yourself. This meal was one of the best during our stay in Prague. Little side note it's a popular restaurant so a reservation will be needed.

The dishes are very well prepared with lots of tastes most of them spicy. Great portions and lively atmosphere. It is usually crowded so it is better to make reservation. Prices are ok.

Very good place to enjoy Mexican food in Prague. Good prices, waiters, and nice environment. Very near from some touristic places. You should try it.

We thought this was better than most Mexican restaurants in the States, which is surprising given that no one in the place that served us looked Mexican. The kids got the usual quesadilla and nachos, but the adults had the vegetarian enchiladas (very good), the refried beans (black beans; very good) and a special item, gazpacho (excellent). If you are... More
