Found this place randomly as we were trying to find a spot for dinner. It's a tiny little restaurant, but makes up for it in food. The bean soup was absolutely amazing and just hit the spot on this rainy evening. The salsa with the chips was very fresh, though maybe a little bland. My veggie enchiladas were nicely cooked,... Cantina serves a good and tasty dish. Usually mexican food can be very salty due to the cheese, but in this case it's not. I really liked that. Service is fast and reactive. So this is where you for a good taco or enchillada. But mind you, its a populair place, so make a reservation.

Chips... Tortilla shells... Everything was stale! Also overpriced for the quality of food. Service was okay though. Wouldn't go back.

I like Mexican food, and my wife loves Mexican food. Therefore I have been to many Mexican restaurants all across Europe (unfortunately not yet in Mexico). For Europe I can say that Cantina is the best place on the continent. The food is just really delicious, and the Czech beer doesn't hurt the overall impression :-) It is also located... More

We were thoroughly disappointed with our meal at La Cantina. The quesadilla was soggy, soaked in salsa. Who wants a quesadilla that doesn't crunch? By the time our mains arrived, I was wondering how good they would be - I couldn't fathom how the highest rated Mexican restaurant in Prague couldn't even manage a decent quesadilla. The prawn burrito was... More

Just left here tonight and we were exceptionally happy! Food was quick and fresh! Huge portions! Cheap prices! I had seen this on trip advisor and really wanted to go. However we did Walk past two or three times without realising it was there. It is beautifully decorated inside, but on the outside it is plain white and wouldn't realise... More

Returned happily to Cantina and again we were not disappointed, delicious guacamole served with crunchy nachos. As a main course my partner had their special, the quesadila with beef sirloin and I the quesadila with shrimps. Both courses were a perfect combination in taste. A big thanks to the friendly waiter in the red shirt who recommended a house tequila... More

My husband and I lived in the Southwest of the USA for ten years and became quite the Tex-Mex fans. We've lived in Germany for over forty years now, and really love it, when we can get good Mexican food. Crazy as it seems, while in Prague we had a craving for a Mexican dinner and read the reviews about... More

I lived in Texas for quite a while and dare say I know a thing or two about Tex-Mex cuisine. I would put the food at the Cantina against any Tex-Mex restaurant in Austin or Houston!

A cozy restaurant in Lesser Town. It realy brings Mexico to you. Delicious food, a wonderful interior, good service,...An absolute recommendation to find out yourself. This meal was one of the best during our stay in Prague. Little side note it's a popular restaurant so a reservation will be needed.
