We are here twice during our stay. This is a very popular restaurant so it is worthwhile booking a table if possible. We tried a variety of dishes - nachos, fajitas, chilli, enchiladas and vegetarian options. The service is very friendly with excellent English. The food was amazing both times - the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. Great... More

We decided to drop by Cantina after we saw the long queue to Petrin Hill’s funicular. So glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious. We started with Nachos Sabrosos. It just had the right spiciness, and the shredded chicken complemented to flavor of the cheese. The Ensalada de Aguacate,Chicken Enchilada and Quesadillas were also very flavorful. Our daughters also... More

Visited here twice we loved it so much the first time. The food was gorgeous and great marguerites. We had nachos to start and they were huge. The dteak burrito was lovely and tender and chicken fajitas just spicy enough. Lovely deserts and great service would highly recommend it.

I went here with a friend on our post-grad Eurotrip. We'd been craving Mexican food and every time we ordered salsa we just got marinara sauce (sad). So we found Cantina on trip advisor and made a reservation. We still had to sit at the bar but we didn't mind at all. We got delicious strawberry margs and good chips... More

Our Segway guide recommended Cantina to us. We were a little wary of having Mex in the Czech Republic as we live in Texas and eat it all the time, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The margaritas were terrific, the chips, salsa, and guacamole were delicious, and both our entrees (fajitas and chicken tacos) were great. If you have... More

This restaurant is very good. The food is wonderful. The atmosphere is a non-traditional restaurant. Very good mosaics. The service is very high. Although we had no reservation we were allowed to eat. Thank you very much!

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
