Best food in Prague!

I had read about this place in advance and googled the menu so knew we had to go. Went for lunch and got seated straight away. Atmosphere and decor are great! Very authentic. Drinks menu is extensive with something for everyone. I recommend the lime Margherita! Strong, refreshing and comes in a... read more

I have been here on several occasions and I wasn't let down. The staff is friendly and fluent in English. The food portions are extremely big and the fajitas is a must try. If you feel you can survive the food amount, then take also Azteka soup. If you want to taste the awesome food you find here, you need... More

Locals have recommended this Mexican place to me, now I know why. The food was really superb, I'm looking for my next visit.

We had dinner at this Mexican restaurant on a Sunday evening. We arrived around 5.30 p.m. and asked if there was a table available. There was one, untill 7.00, which suited us. We ordered taco's and a mojito cocktail which was served soon (not too soon) and tasted good. Lovely interior as well.

We made a rather last-minute attempt to dine here after passing it on the way back to our hotel. They were fully booked for the evening - on a cold Wednesday night - but luckily for us they were able to accommodate us at one of the mini tables attached to the bar. This turned out to be a wonderful... More

I have been eating at this restaurant for over 7 years now. Everyone I am back in Prague I make it my mission to eat here. Food is fantastic and well priced. It's always full so you need to book at least 2 days in advance. This popularity says enough about the restaurant. Thumbs up from me all round.

The food was delicious, cocktails were well prepared and very tasty, staff friendly and helpful. Better to make a reservation in advance.

Visited this restaurant with my daughter in January, it was quite a walk from our hotel and it was very cold outside but it was well worth the walk, the staff were lovely and very friendly, we had booked a table as it advised us to in the guide book and it was very busy. The food was amazing and... More

I've always been a fan of the Cantina. I first lived in Prague in 2002 and starting going to Cantina shortly after that. Since then, I've been coming and going to Prague on a consistent basis and now, I'm back living in Prague and I'm still going to Cantina whenever I get the chance. I've never been disappointed with the... More

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
