Very nice

We went for dinner after having selected this place off TA and were impressed by the quiet, relaxed tone of the room, the amazing view, the excellent service, and the very nice food. Can recommend for a romantic dinner.

Unfortunately our first dining experience in Prague was a disappointment. Staying n the hotel was comfortable as you would expect from an Intervontinental however the Zalta Praha was not of the same standard. We were told we needed to book for 21:30 as no earlier tables we available, however upon arrival there were only 2 occupied tables in a very... More

This was not a cheap evening, nor a perfect dining experience. That being said, it was truly memorable. We ate on the terrace on a gorgeous summer evening. Watching the sunset, then the lights illuminate the towers, steeples and castle of Prague was truly magical. The food was high quality and very well prepared. The service, however, was relaxed to... we ordered two soups and two main dishes. the soup was ok. but the roasted duck and grilled pork were over cooked, the meat was so tough. the view is decent, and waiters were very friendly. but overall, its not worth for the money.

Restaurant is a high cuisine. Very professional staff, caring about each guest and at the same time being very fast, trying to advise a guest the best food items. Very delicious and great views restaurant

There is a lovely interior resteraunt and a more relaxed outside area to eat. We ate in the inside on our first evening and enjoyed the food so much that we returned on another evening to dine outside. I must admit I think I prefer the outside area particularly as the weather was so kind to us. However the inside... More

Although the restaurant could use a little updating, the food was amazing and the service thoughtful. My sea bass was perfect. The view of the city is amazing and really adds to the atmosphere so you soon forget the decor is from the early 70's.

We loved visiting Prague, but on the whole I found the food a little heavy. We enjoyed our dinner at the Alata Praha Restaurant on top of the Intercontinental Hotel. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We live near the wine country in California and some of the food at this restaurant reminded us of restaurants in the Napa Valley.... More

The view in this restaurant is superb. They serve a tasting menu, which is rather good but lacks that bit of something that would make the meal truly memorable. The view is over the old town and very very beautiful, we timed our dinner so that we saw both the sunset and the moonrise (July, around 20-22). Don't expect a... More

One of the nicest views of Prague. The high end service, great food, good wine... I cant say anything about the price since I attended a business dinner as a guest, but I'm guessing it was quite expensive... If you got money to spend, this is a good place

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
