Probably the best meal of my life!

The atmosphere, the service and, of course, the food made this a perfect experience. I am new at this whole Michelin-star restaurant game. However, I could not have had a better introduction. Everything I had was amazing! Even the bread was incredible. Finally, I had the Sicilian lemon tart. I... read more

The dinner, atmosphere and service was outstanding and most of the courses were exceeding our expectations! We were also offered wine by the glass as we did not want to drink a full bottle and the pairing (a glass for each course) was also too much for us.

This was a true dinning experience starting with a space from the Art Deco era, to the attentive staff, to meals visually stunning, to food that excited your taste buds, to the last dish when we did not want to leave. A true gastronomic gem to complement a gem of a city, Prague. Do not miss this truly memorable dining... More

Went there with my husband as we were staying at the hotel and saw it was the #1 place to eat in Prague. We saw how expensive it was and decided to splurge. I would save your money. The staff was very attentive and polite. But the food is average, I've had better tasting food at other restaurants that cost... More

The restaurant chef definitely is an artist, but the food has quite regular taste ( of course good quality and taste, fresh ingredients, but it wont rise you to heaven). The wine selection is an experience on its own, this is something that actually catched our mind, more then food. The wines were really interesting and well paired with food,... More

This restaurant gave us the real experiance of good service. We ate a 4 course meal but were constantly given extra small dishes besides the ones we ordered. Together with the good service and good atmosphere this made our trip to prague amazing! 8 tables only. Don't forget to book in advance!

We came to Alcron on the night of our wedding to celebrate. For the both of us, it was the first experience of a Michelin star restaurant, and it seemed like the perfect timing for it. The dinner, from the moment we stepped inside until we left, was perfect! We both took the 4 course menu. One of the nice... More

based on reviews I expected a lot more. food was good, but this quality you get at many other places for less money. Nothing special. Boring. plus dessert was really without fantasy.

the restaurant Alcron probably suffers from being top-rated and Michelin-starred. there is a certain expectation from those who have been to many Michelin-starred restaurants and from folks like us who just want to have an affordable Michelin experience. and in a city like Prague where there are many good food options, both low-cost and higher-end, being number 1 on a... Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
