Typical European buffet - with some of the extras. I liked the salmon and the omelets. Occasionally they had a wonderful morning soup. (like squash or leech)

This restaurant in the historic Hotel de Pariz has the the most elegant original Art Nouveau decor, which is a must see for Art Nouveau lovers! The degustation and a la carte menus offer a range of French - style dishes all very well presented. The a la carte menu offers better value. The wine pairing for the degustation menu... More

I started with a veal consomme with cheese gnocchi and root vegetables. My entree was baked pike-perch filet with sesame-herb crust with caper sauce and carrot-turnip purée. The fish was perfectly prepared and the caper sauce was excellent. I used some bread to wipe up the leftover sauce. I did not want to waste a bite. The other five diners... More

6 of us in Prague who have traveled a lot throughout the globe were seeking a quiet environ with decent food before attending a symphonic concert. By happenstance since we were staying nearby, we walked into Hotel Paris (Pahjheezz) and thru the restaurant during a quiet period at 3p We were able to secure 6pm reservations and the very helpful... This is a wonderful restaurant right in the center of things with fantastic Czech-French food and elegant service. I had a scallop appetizer, a luscious dish of local trout filets with roasted potatoes and vegetables puréed with mint and a scrumptious desert of a rich chocolate cake, pistachio ice cream and a solid chocolate spoon to eat it with along... We ate here after a great dinner the night before at an exceptional restaurant. While none of the four had any complaints, nothing stood out. It is a large restaurant connected to Hotel Paris, and may suffer from having captive customers, but it is very nice atmosphere and food was good. A bit expensive, but given Prague is cheaper than... The décor was strikingly beautiful, true to Art Deco in every way. The wines superb. And the food was really great. Maybe we were there on an off night though, as the restaurant was empty and was lacking in fun. The waiters, although attentive enough, looked like they were watching their watches and couldn't wait for this night to end.... More

We eight showed up with no reservations late in the evening only an hour before the kitchen closed. They took us in and served us wonderful food and wine. The food was seriously excellent and the service was fabulous. Highly recommend this restaurant (and ask for the waiter Pavel.)

This is a very fine and traditional french restaurant and it is also quite expensive, so our expectations were quite high. The dinner was accompanied by a live piano player, which was quite nice although it was a bit loud. The food and wines were in general tasty, but it was very classic and traditional french dishes. In some cases... More

We went to this restaurant during our stay in Prague and we're still talking about it a month later! It was simply amazing. Of course it's not so cheap but for this level of service, presentation and taste, you'd pay at least 5 times more in Vienna where we live. Special mention for the local wine the waiter advised, it... More
