This mediterranean-inspired restaurant has family atmosphere and is great for a romantic dinner. The food was very good, wine too. This is one of the places to go for fish and seafood. The octopus we had as an entree was especially good. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great restaurant for some seafood and dishes outside of the typical Czech meat dishes. The decor is very nice and welcoming, and the servers all spoke great English. The prices are a bit higher from some other nice restaurants in Prague, but it was still a great experience.

A year after my first review, I am happy to again give this wonderful place 5 stars. From the moment we entered the door, on a cold windy winter night, we were enveloped by the warmth of the owner and his wife, and the lovely decor. The cod with asparagus and hollandaise sauce was beautifully prepared and presented. The service flawless.Go prepared... We had an amazing time there. The majority of the restaurant is non smoking which is a plus in Prague. We had the beef tenderloin tar tar, mussels, rocket salad and creamy spaghetti with pancetta, crunchy asparagus, and salmon. They were all simply prepared but had amazing flavor. The price point was awesome! Pretty dining room and great service. We'll... More

We were looking for a nice restaurant close to the hotel and was not disappointed. Our server was very nice and well versed in the menu and wine pairings! Once the food arrived we were pleased with every bite and stopped short of licking our plates, yes we did use bread to soak up any leftover sauces! :-) We had... More

This restaurant was a gem to find. The attention detail was superb, whether the dishes that contained the deftly subtle touches of flourish borne from food lovers even down to the correct spelling of Scottish whisky.

I lived in Prague, and Oliva was my second home-now when I arrive to Prague, Oliva is the first place that I always visit. The reason for it is not only pleasant, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff but especially the delicate mediterranean cuisine. In addition, I always look forward to the bread that is baked in Oliva by themselves and served... More
