Great sea food, one of the best in Prague

We have visited Kogo after a 5-6 months cause due to winter period their open garden is closed and place is not that charming. But generally everything else there is great, wide list of wines, lots of sea food options, exelent service and almost family atmosphere there gives them almost five stars... read more

Terrible experience. I stood for ages while the waiter ignored me and refilled customers wine, cleared plates and empty bottles. When I did get to sit down, I had to wait 10 minutes then say ''menu?' To,same waiter. I was given bread with olive oil, I noticed everyone else had olive oil and balsamic. When I got my meal had... More

We were a group of 2 culled wandering around on a cold day in Prague looking of a good place to eat! We came across Kogo! And what a great find. Beautiful decor, excellent service, get menu with excellent food and wine choices" . The old was fantastic, the brucetta mouthwatering and all 4 x main ordered were enjoyed by... More

Apart from the really nice garden, which attracted me to have a lunch there (and against my better judgement), the experience we had today at Kogo was, mildly put, very disappointing. The service staff is gloomy and never smiles, overall feeling is 'I don't care if you will stay or go, I can't be bothered if you like it here... More

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The only thing that botherd us is that they allow people to smoke inside.

I come here for lunch or dinner for years. They have good location, in the centre. Very fast and polite service. Atmosphere is always very much alive. And off course, food is delicious, especially beef carpaccio.

Lived in Prague for four years and this place was one of my favorites, honest food, courteous and friendly staff and honest prices. Not a place to test Typical Czech cuisine though, is more of international food. Behold, the dish I liked the least was the pizza, all the other options were great. Start with the bread &Olive oil &... More

Delicious Frutti di Mare Pizza. Nice place in downtown Prague, next to the shopping street. Really good.

The atmosphere is lovely. Very relaxed feeling and the staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent choice of wines. The food was beautiful and I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough. Very good quality and very reasonably priced.

Great place with nice garden. Good food, bit expensive. Croatian/Serbian staff, average Italian food. The main problém is that the whole restaurant is smoking allowed, even during the lunch time. Really strange,

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
