A lovely quiet position and wondering Italian food

It took a bit of finding this place but when we did we were not disappointed. Once again the greeting was friendly and warm. Italian food is often viewed as easy but when prepared well there isn't much to touch it. I had a bit of trouble dodging the Veal and Foie Gras (which there is a lot of... read more

Went to get a quick business lunch, on first impression seems quite fancy, they even have a coat room, and the greeter was very pleasant. We quickly got a table and proceeded to get the menu. We had basic dishes - the waiter was polite, took our order promptly, and maintained our service throught the lunch with adequate distance and... More

Having been told that Christmas Dinner in Prague consists of sea food, we were not surprised to see a lovely sea food presentation at the restaurant entrance on Christmas Evening. Accordingly, we ordered a seafood menu, that was really exciting, tasty and served in a very 'nouvelle cuisine' order! All four of us visiting the restaurant, were very happy with... More

This is one of the most popular restaurants in Prague. It is always busy with interesting people. The food selection is quite varied offering everything from fresh seafood, excellent meat dishes as well as pizza and pasta. The wine selection is good offering mostly Italian wines. There could be more French wines. The waiters are friendly and helpful.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
