Three of us had a late lunch on a March Saturday afternoon. Although we did not have a reservation, we were seated after 15 minutes. First point to make, the view is spectacular! This was a warm (15C) sunny day and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the outdoor patio. The beer and wine were good and the food as... More

Booked dinner for 13 people to celebrate a 50th birthday, and had a great night. The location is fantastic, right along side the river "under looking" Charles Bridge. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was perfect: felt very classy! We all had lovely meals, and were very well looked after by our waiters. Not the cheapest, but good value... More

We booked there for a romantic dinner..unfortunately it was just a failure.the service was very good but the food..so &so... extremely salty and very expensive without reason. but this is not the end of the world...the worst thing is the noise that the staff made..(we were just the two of us as clients and other 4 people) we were about... This is a very nice place for a Sunday brunch, especially if you have kids. It is a paradise for kids :) They had approx. 4 girls to watch and play with the kids so you can enjoy the food. The food was nice, very delicious fish and few other meats. Very nice staff and service. Definitely recommend.

Our hotel concierge recommended this fine dining restaurant overlooking Charles Bridge. Being the 14th Feb - Valentines Day - the only table availability was for the early dinner sitting (6pm to 8pm) when we made the last minute reservation. We were offered a window table that allowed a spectacular view of Charles Bridge and the river. The meal was superb,... More

We had booked a table in advanced. We arrived a few minutes later but it didn't seem to be a problem. We had a warm reception by one of the waitresses, who took our coats. We were taken to our table, although not by the window but we still had a beautiful view of Charles Bridge. Menu combines international cuisine... More

This restaurant shares the same ownership as Kamp Park in Prague. This restaurant offers more of an Asian fusion feel to its food and is a simpler offering to that of Kampa Park. Good food, slightly over priced but has an amazing patio with views of the Charles bridge and the castle. Try both restaurants, you will not be let... More

There is a café and a restaurant next to each other-the café has a Sunday brunch which is very pricey but of high quality. The day we dined there, the bulk of the restaurant was reserved for a child's birthday party. Although it was noisy and crowded, it was interesting to see the interaction of the Czech families. The waitstaff... More

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
