Friendly ambience, excellent menu and wine list, plus discreetly attentive waiting staff. Breakfasts catered for light and hefty eaters, one could survive all day with the cooked breakfasts.
I have been at Allegro restaurant ith my wife during our trip to Praga while celebrating our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is very elegant (more then expected) and the food is high quality. the atmosphire is very nice and the view also ! the other good thing is that you can have a cigarette at the bar. we went at december of 2008.
We went to this restaurant in four seasons only 2 days ago and it had closed down. We went as it was recommended in the lonely planet. We always try to have brunch at the Four Seasons while traveling because it's always something special. Allegro was no exception! We had the degustation menu with wine pairings and everything from presentation to service to taste and texture was perfect. The restaurant is gorgeous, with an amazing view. Brunch took a few hours, but it was certainly worth it.
I never forget their Almond Frangipane & Apricot Wedding Cake...pistachio biscuit with marinated apricots, vanilla cream, strawberries and caramel cream!!! But Apple strudel is fine with me too :-)
Expensive, but excelent - both service and food...i recommend to have degustation menu...is worthfull....is a part of Four Season Hotel on Krizovnicka street, right next to the river.
