Good food

After a long day travelling my partner and I went to the Kings Court restaurant for tea. The menus come in the form of an electronic tablet and have a good selection of traditional Czech fare. The neck of deer was exceptionally good, well cooked and plenty of it. And with beers also the bill was... read more

We ate there after a long day out and without planning since it was close to where we were staying I have to say I was pleasantly surprised both by the quality and flavor of the food and the service iPad menus show you what you are ordering and we had the duck pate and venison for main both were... On our first night in Prague and ended up here in the front glassed sitting area, It had big heaters, the service was first class. we had the goulash & Dumplings, the meat was very tender and tasty, found the dumplings a bit on the heavy side but nice. Other peoples food looked very nice.

We ordered the salmon pasta and really enjoyed it. However, the meals were not big and a nice 125czk arrived in a shape of a water bottle.

We arrived at the King's Court hotel in the evening so decided to eat there instead of going out to find our way to another. We were given ipads with the menus on and also accompanying photos of all the dishes. Nice to see what they looked like rather than just choosing from descriptions. The food and service were very... I only went to the restaurant, not the hotel itself Service is great, the decoration of the restaurant is pleasant and modern but i got two pepper shakers but no salt and, at least in Easter, i had better goulash with dumplings twice elsewhere.

We stopped here for lunch and really enjoyed it. The covered outside area is good for seeing what's going on around you and the menu is on an iPad with photos of every dish...great idea. We had the chicken Caesar salad with a beer, of course, and it was tasty and fresh. Good service too.

We eat here this week, for lunch and dinner on separate days, and we enjoyed every moment and every bite. The food was delicious, the staff was polite and friendly and the terrace has nice views of the Náměstí Republiky.

This is the hotel restaurant from The hotel i am staying in. Usually i never dine in hotels, however i thought to give it a try since it was so convenient after a long day of sight seeing. A lot of non guests from outside come to eat here too. The service is excellent and the dishes are well prepared.... More

We ate here twice because it was refreshing to be able to get a salad or healthier meal option. The food was consistently good, the service was good, and the Bloody Mary was a piece of art!! I also had chicken schnitzel which was amazing. We stayed at the Marrriott in New Town Prague and this was our go to... More

Dear Ilana, thank you for your lovely comments I will ensure they are read by the entire restaurant team. As for the smoking, we apologise however at the moment we still have high demand from smokers, so we have made the outside terrace open for smokers, however the inside of the restaurant is smoke-free. Once again I thank you and... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
