The brewery and restaurant U Tri ruzi in Prague is situated in the historical center on Husova street close to the famous Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Right after your entering the feeling of the unique atmosphere of an Old-Prague brewery will overcome you. The feeling is intensified by wall-paintings by artists Jiri Bernard and Pavel Jakl who drew and painted pictures about the history of brewing in the Czech lands as the rich history of the house (the brewery U Tri ruzi).

This is the kind of local restaurant with a lot of history. Typical Czech food, and they serve only their locally brewed beer. I drank the dark special, the amber and the red, all excelent. I had starters, main courses and deserts all excelent. Yes I went more than once :)

Considering the plethora of tourist traps serving over-priced mush in this part of town, and the endless supply of fresh tourists they prey on, the Three Roses manages to be a good quality establishment and not outrageously priced. The menu is wide and imaginative with everything from light snacks to sharing feasts. The star of the show however has to... More

U Tri Ruzi brews its own beer and it was the best beer we had in Prague which is saying something! The food was also excellent - especially the goulash in a bread bowl. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Located in a quiet street in the centre of Prague, aside from the main tourist attractions, this is a perfect place to stop for a beer while visiting this wonderful city. They brew their own beer, which they serve directly from kegs. Specially recommended the amber lager (Světlý Ležák) -one of the best ones I have ever tried- and the... More

We wanted to visit other place but it was full so we decided to go to Tri Ruzi and it was good decision, we tried three beers, lager, dark beer and simcoe amber ale. Lager was ok, dark beer was rich and very tasty, but simcoe amber ale was stunning. These guys really know how to make a good beer,... More

We came across this restaurant and was very surprised at the selection and service. Had the goulash in bread bowl and was fantastic. They brew their own beer here and was excellent. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable, place was very clean, prices very reasonable, and food was served hot and delicious! We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to... More

I refer you to Exhibit A - my review of the Golden Tiger - a Prague legend. It's almost opposite this bar and there's no comparison. Here, it's airy, the staff are friendly and there's a range of quality beer on offer - all brewed on site. Food is good too. Save your money at the tourist trap that's over... More

Nice pub/eatery atmosphere. Beef goulash was disappointing but my friends meals were good (duck, rabbit, schnitzel). Beer selection was very good with their own brews on offer. Close to the old town square.

They brew their own beer and it is very nice. They have at least three or four different types of their own beer on tap. Food is very good and prices reasonable.

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
