The brewery and restaurant U Tri ruzi in Prague is situated in the historical center on Husova street close to the famous Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Right after your entering the feeling of the unique atmosphere of an Old-Prague brewery will overcome you. The feeling is intensified by wall-paintings by artists Jiri Bernard and Pavel Jakl who drew and painted pictures about the history of brewing in the Czech lands as the rich history of the house (the brewery U Tri ruzi).

Great homemade beer and delicious food.

Prague is a really good city with a plenty of restaurants. In reason of this few places are able to provide a really good and more than the average. But this place is a really good choice. We seek microbrews, unusual local beer. Near by beer heaven U Kunstatu recommended Three Roses for food and beer. Yes! What a rare combo. And excellent atmosphere. Rabbit, plug strudel, pear spelt cake with chocolate sauce.

I visited a number of brew pubs in Prague and this was the best of them. Like most they had the dark and light Pilsner, both perfectly drinkable, but take the opportunity to try some other styles too. The Red Ale was rich and full flavoured and the excellent Monastic beer is not, as I expected, a Trappist ‘taste a... More

If you are looking for a Czech beer house that does good food, you just found it. We had the Dark beer (somewhat like Beamish) very smooth and a great taste, with a shared starter of the ribs (cooked in same beer) which were superb but be warned very filling. Main course was the Fallow Deer with dumplings which was... More

This place was another brew pub I dragged my wife to. We had a blast and a great hearty meal. My wife had the schnitzel and I had the gulash. We made a "mistake" of ordering the sausage plate as a starter. Stuff was delicious and super filling we probably could have just ordered that and the beer and been... More

Just walking around the old city we came across the "three roses", we're we had dinner our first night in Prague. Over our weekend trip, we went back twice. The food is good, as well as the atmosphere (it's a little ways out of the normal, tourist hunting grounds), but we went back for the beer. They have 6 amazing... More

My husband and I stumbled upon this place while out trying to find a place to eat for the evening, and we are so glad we did. First of all, the atmosphere was great, and the place was really clean. The server was also really nice and accommodating, and was never far away when we needed anything. I had the... More

We were looking for a beer hall near the old city and found this place. It was 3 stories high so it had lots of space. Great beer and great local food. Huge portions at reasonable prices. Best thing was each floor had bath rooms. Very important with all that beer.

This microbrewery place offers fantastic beers (I tried 3 of their list of 6 they had in May), the burger was really good too.

As one enters this restaurant in the old city of Prague one is welcomed by the copper beer brewers. Atmosphere is cosy... Alas we are sent up to the third floor. Seated in a table for two surrounded by strange but attractive frescoes we order. The amber Simcoe beer is house made and really excellent with a chocolaty bitter savor.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
