Amazing, was so good we went back for another meal a few days later!

Reserved a table here before traveling to Prague. The food was amazing, would highly recommend the Chicken supreme! We loved it so much we went back a couple of days later to have it again! The staff were wonderful and friendly. The building is lovely, and makes for a nice meal, great value and... read more

This is a fairly typical Czech pub serving classic fare, nothing special about it. The service was slightly cold but not really impolite. Overall = 6/10 - meh.

Food was just average. Not at all the best food I've had for this price range. I'd strongly suggest you try something else...I wish I had.

We were staying in Stare Mesto and happening on this quiet refuge from the crowds and heat, eventually ate there 3 times. Have their own beers, I sampled 4 different varieties and each was excellent, as was the food. Had duck, pork and deer, each dish was very tasty. Reasonably well-priced, air-conditioned. Highly recommend!

What I can say? Simply amazing! I ate pork ribs (the best in Prague) and drank two good beers. The place is very characteristic . Recommended!

I stopped by here after a business meeting already having had lunch so eve though the menu on the blackboard looked interesting did not have a chance to actually try the dishes. The beers however were very nice. A selection of different varieties of beers in a nice bar slightly to the side of main tourist thoroughfare so relatively calm... More

Beer is very good and the food was the best we had in this price category, can warmly recommend this place, also to families with children.

If you are seeking out quality beer this is not the place as their range is very limited and the beer tastes like something a good home brewer would knock out. Also I would not describe the service as overly friendly or informative.

we visited after reading good reviews here in TA but our own opinion is that is just an OK restaurant (dont go with a baby on a stroller unless you want to be treated as trash and sent up to the second floor carrying the stroller by yourself up the super narrow stairs) staff not friendly.

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
