My Hostel (Adam&Eva) recommended I come to this restaurant - not only was the svíčková; sirloin prepared with vegetables with dumplings, gravy and cranberry amazing i had to come back twice and order it again. The service was fast, waiters were friendly, they have an english menu also. They have polish beers on tap and the lemonade was good on... More

A bit off the beaten path but worth the effort. The food is well prepared with large portions, we could have easily shared a entree! Spinach, pear, bacon and feta cheese salad and Russian borscht soup would have been a filling, delicious meal itself! The service is leisurely, not a rushed to get you out place but some would label... More

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews on this site on the second of our three nights in Prague. The menu offered a good choice to suit all tastes and was very reasonably priced in addition to which the staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed it so much that before leaving we reserved a table for the... More

I used to go here for lunch as I lived just around the corner. Such an amazing found! Their menu changes every day. Food is always fresh and tastes great! They have traditional Czech food as well as international dishes. I recommend the Czech ones as here the quality is better then anywhere else in Prague. Also the price is... More

Came here due to the strength of the previous reviews. It doesn't disappoint. We had the garlic soup as starter, followed by pork sausages with a mayonnaise sauce and steamed potatoes, and I had the chicken steak with chips. The service was excellent, and well-priced for what we had.

About a year since my last visit, I returned this week, sampling the lunch menu (fried chicken salad pictured). Very fast service, tasty food and reasonable prices. The best place of its kind in Prague 5!

This is a genuine Czech food source! The Praha locals know about it and so should you. I recommend the goulash, but everything on the menu looked great. It is even better now (in summer) as you can bathe in the sun whilst drinking quality Pivo on menu.

If we could rate this restaurant higher than 5, we would. The pork medallions with potato pancakes were absolutely delicious. The spicy beef goulash was wonderful also! Recommend this restaurant very highly!

We visited here on our first night in Prague. We found it to have a very relaxed atmosphere and excellent service from the very friendly waitress who spoke excellent English, The spicy goulash was extremely tasty and huge! It was also excellent value as we had one starter, two main courses and a litre of red wine all for less... More
