Visited twice in the past week. The food was delicious and service great both times. This is not a fancy place, but offers a nice selection of Czech and international dishes at decent prices alongside some good beers and homemade lemonades. The duck with red cabbage and gnocchi was the best meal I ate in Prague. The kind of hearty... More

Found this lovely restaurant via trip advisor as it was just around the corner from our hotel. Very friendly waiting staff who were fluent in English. Chose the goulash, duck and chicken dishes with a starter each (3 of us eating). The food was superb and very filling - no complaints at all. Service was exemplary and a very reasonably... More

Tucked away in a relatively quiet street in Little Quarter, this resto is a real gem! Great service with fantastic food (big portions) at good value. Try the sausage platter, which is by itself already a more than decent meal. Overall: must try if you are looking for quality local food.

Off the main tourist areas, in the southern part of Mala Strana, a very local restaurant, we were the only foreigners. Great Czech food (svickova, goulash, beef cheek), with a special plus for the honey cake dessert and the large portions. Great value too. Very nice, especially if you want to get out the typical tourist traps.

Even though it was recommended by our hotel, and had the TripAdvisor logo in the window, we walked past our first night in Prague. We ate there every night after that. The menu has typical Czech food mixed with some more touristy selections. Also had both Staropramen and Pilsner Urquel on tap. We even had good service while a group... More

My Hostel (Adam&Eva) recommended I come to this restaurant - not only was the svíčková; sirloin prepared with vegetables with dumplings, gravy and cranberry amazing i had to come back twice and order it again. The service was fast, waiters were friendly, they have an english menu also. They have polish beers on tap and the lemonade was good on... More

A bit off the beaten path but worth the effort. The food is well prepared with large portions, we could have easily shared a entree! Spinach, pear, bacon and feta cheese salad and Russian borscht soup would have been a filling, delicious meal itself! The service is leisurely, not a rushed to get you out place but some would label... More

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews on this site on the second of our three nights in Prague. The menu offered a good choice to suit all tastes and was very reasonably priced in addition to which the staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed it so much that before leaving we reserved a table for the... More
