Good restaurant: tasty food, reasonable prices and nice service. Austere and simple decoration but there is enough room between the tables.

We were staying in a hotel up the hill a 5 minute walk away and decided to try eating out locally. It was so different to our eating experiences around the old town square. We were warmly greeted and although the staff didn't speak perfect English, they tried to accommodate our requests. They were very friendly throughout, unlike most Czechs... More

We were there with some friends, the food was good (not big portions though) and the price was quite average for Prague. Just didn't like the music was so low that everybody was kind of whispering and the age of people inside was well above 40's. SO this could be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for.... I visited the restaurant Yesterday with my family, and we were happy. The place was clean and neat, the staff was friendly and the most important the food was delicious! :D Unfortunately, there was no corner for kids although the restaurant was classified as "Family with children" but the staff and even the guests were very friendly and nice :)... Stopped here for lunch as it was recommended by the staff at hotel Julian and we weren't disappointed. Although we waited a while for our food it was delicious and couldn't fault it. I highly recommend the honey cake for dessert or just with coffee/tea, it tastes more like coffee cake though but it's fantastic! Staff were very friendly and... More

We decided to visit this restaurant following the opinions read on tripadvisor. Very good main courses, inspired by czech traditional cousine. Spectacular honey cake. However the service was pretty slow even if the waiters were very kind. Fair prices.

This is a great place for dinner - and it's a non-smoking establishment! We had four glasses of wine, and two entrees all for about $30. Such a bargain and so scrumptious. We highly recommend this eatery.

Visited on my first evening in Prague. What a great introduction to Czech food. I had the duck which was excellent. The atmosphere was friendly and the prices very reasonable. They offered a free pre?starter, which was a nice touch. Overall highly recommended.
