The waiter treated us very bad. The breakfast was really poor and expensive. The waiter even took out from the chance his tip.
It was midweek, and about 6ish. We stumbled onto this restaurant and saw the Tripadvisor sticker in the window. We decided to give it a try. It was very good. Very quaint feeling restaurant down in the cellar part of the building. The staff was friendly. Close to Old Town Square.
The food in the restaurant is all based on the Italian kitchen and with an excellent Chianti, the atmosphere was like sitting in Tuscany or in a Piazza in Rome. The location is probably one of the best in Prague, and well worth the time to take a break and look at the hundreds of tourists, live-statues and people walking... More
This was a welcome find for a relaxing break from all the hectic sightseeing around the Old Town Square, especially when waiting for the Astronomical Clock to chime, sitting outside watching the world go by.....we missed the first one due to the fabulous dessert & coffee. The interior of the restaurant looks very interesting and the menu varied, we must... More
Perfect location especially for the Christmas lights and watching activities going on. However, very pricey. But a must for one drink and people watching. Walk round the corner for food and drink at a fraction of the cost. Outdoor heaters were a bonus.
Our first trip to Caffe Italia was for beer and a sandwich on arrival to Prague, the warm outdoor seating makes a perfect vantage point for people watching and admiring the spectacular Old Town Square and we enjoyed our snack although not the finest sandwich. We returned due to the excellent service, atmosphere and location and enjoyed delicious Czech goulash... More
The strange thing about this cafe is that waiter brought the bill although we did not request. I guess they dont want people to stay longer.
The Coffe Itália is a great choise. Good food, servisse and the view is gorgeous. A little expensive but it is not a problem. Thinks that you are a lucky person to enjoy it.
Perfect location in the Old Square to watch the world go by with a glass or two of local beer. We sat here on two glorious days & soaked up the atmosphere. Good friendly service
We sat here with a glass of wine but did not eat. If you want a great location where you have a full view of the square & clock this is the place to be. The square is surrounded by restaurants and we chose this randomly. The service was not as good as we had in other restraints a smile... More
