After a very good lunch in Dejvice (Kulatak), I was here for dinner and hey this is similar or even slightly better! I fully subscribe all the positive reviews I've read about Budvarka. Mushrooms, beer and strudel, very moderate bill: thumb up!

I always try to go there when I'm in Prague, lovely place with nice Czech cuisine. Really nice restaurant to enjoy classic Czech meals with good beers and the price is right! There are no TV for watching football games so it's a nice and relax place.

We came here for a late lunch with a couple of beers after checking in to our hotel. I opted for a wild bore and bohemian dumpling dish, which was amazing. Lots of sauce to be mopped up! The beer was fantastic, possibly the best I've had in Prague. If I were in this district of Prague again, I'd make... More

Not every Czech likes Budvar but here it is kept extremely well. I'd recommend the 10 degree (that's degrees, not percent alcohol) as the 12 degree is really strong. The food is also reliably good - nothing special but it's a good place to try Czech traditional food and it always has a few vegetarian options. It would be better... More

First impression arriving in Prague Not so nice. Food was not served after 10pm which was unfortunate and the staff was not nice about it. Place is nice with a clear line between smoking and non smoking. Beer is good but only Budweiser buvar for choice

We have been here every time we have visited Prague. The waitors are very service minded and good. The food is simply excellent and the beers great. Food and drinking is cheap and we especially recommend the totally perfect rump steak, and the tatar and the pig knuckle. We will definetily come back :-)

We decided to go again to our favourite rastaurant and eat something delicious. It is always a brilliant decision. By far the best meal we had. The mix of meat, special potatoes and vegetebles was great, the bear was brilliant. And value and the service excellent. We would highly recommend anyone finding a good restaurant in Prague. Give this restaurant... More
