Fantastic New Year's Eve Dinner

Red Pif's 7 course degustation dinner (we don't drink, so didn't have the matching wines) for New Year's Eve, 2015, was fantastic! Red Pif concept delivers what Pargue needed: a concept of combining quality wine by the glas (French focused) with now sometiimes outstanding food. This is an upmarket bistro where knowledgeable someliers (ask for Klara) let you try several wines matching your food choice. Having been a Red Pif regular myself for several years, I very much appreciated the arrival of... More

Meal was incredibly great, service was little bit nasty in the beggining but it was changed in few minutes. Service chose few types of wine which was coresponding with our meal. We selected one of them and it was great.

Dinner at Red Pif is more creative than at many nearby restaurants. The pumpkin soup was delicious. The mains have definite promise. Great wine selection.

The Red Pif recently changed the concept and turned into more French culinary style lead by super skillfull chef Steven. The ambiance of restaurant it s rather combination of wine shop with bistro causy feeling. But what is fine dining mean to you nowadays? If you need a spotless ironed tablecloth than you will be propably dissapointed. If you looking... More

This is a modern wine bar serving excellent Czech wines (yes they do exist!) with great meat dishes. It is a very "hip" place that clearly gets a lot of 30-something locals. Service was initially a bit slow, but as our server/sommelier began to understand our wine knowledge, it improved dramatically. We had a particularly wonderful plate filled with local... More

My husband and I just completed a delightful evening at Red Pif. The service, by Luci, was perfect. She suggested wonderful wine pairings for each course and was attentive but not obtrusive throughout the meal. The food was fantastic and the wine was very good as well. And all this was for a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend this... More

It is a pity which such a cute restaurant is charging so much for such a ridicolous portion I understand that everybody wants to make money but this is really to much. I asked as main dish some pork...price 450 CZK The portion is smalll like an appetizer...100 grams? That means pork for 4500 CZK x kg? So if you... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
