We went to this restaurant on our last day in Prague, having been to some great places throughout the week. Based on the previous reviews we thought it would be of an equal standard. When we arrived, we got a particularly chilly reception. We were then offered wine, which was chosen based on taste rather than a wine list. I... More

We liked a concept of this restaurant - simple modern interior, small but delicious selection of food, great selection of wine. We enjoyed very much desserts. The only thing we didn't like was a not existing wine list. Waiters offered wine based on our taste (and they managed it very well) but we got to know prices only when paying.

Probably the best and most memorable dinner of 10 days in Prague was spent at Red Pif. We chose it for our last evening because we had walked by it many times and had been intrigued by the appearance. We were not disappointed. It was quite unique! The food, the wine, the wait staff were all excellent. All in all,... More

Everything is perfect - I am loving the informal atmosphere, really tasty food (it has the special something extra of flavor, where you feel this was cooked by somebody who is master cook and do it with love). Also prices for wine was surprisingly friendly - 500CZK per bottle. Only the the waiter had a lot of things to do,... More

Like a few others have mentioned; there is no wine list, and wine choices are made by the house "wine expert". You also have no idea of what the cost is, until you get the check. I also agree with others about the short pours, and also beleive that they are trying to empty bottles that have already been started.... More

Dear cigbar1, First of all I would like to thank you for your review. I'm sorry that your starter was dry. We do it in a vacuum at 60 degrees and then intense meat roasts test before serving. I told to the chef and had to be some mistake and regret it. As for the main course we tried to... More

If you like wine (and maybe tired of drinking beer!) and good food Red Pif is the place to go. Nice restaurant with a great selection of wine mostly coming from France, Czech Republic, Austria. We had a very good time and the food was amazing. I would recommend this restaurant and I would absolutely go there again if I'm... More

Wine bar with only a small selection of dishes, but what is being served, is absolutely amazing. The food is of a very high quality, as are the wines that accompanied with them. We were given the choice between two local wines which we could taste in advance and that matched the food perfectly (I had roasted duck breast with... More

Výborné jídlo, skvělé víno a rychlá obsluha - nejlepší restaurace na Starém městě v Praze. Excellent food, great wine and quick service - the best restaurant in the Old Town in Prague.
