Great food and perfectly matched wines

What a wonderful place. We thought we may be "ripped off" a bit by the wine selection as there is no wine list so were pleasantly surprised when all 4 of the wines we had were excellent value - most expensive (large) glass 79czK, cheapest 65czK. The food, staff and ambience were great too. If we... read more

Went with my family of 4. They have a very nice French flare to the restaurant. Very unique French and Czech wine selection. Good decor in the restaurant, and very nice service. The plating of the food and appetizers are beautiful. Top notch food as well. This is a great place to go for a dinner in Prague.

This nice furnished restaurant gives the place a modern touch. The wines impressed me more than the food. There was a very good local sparkling wine . On the walls the photos of Tono Stano, they are great. Concerning the food: it was ok but not more than that, to expensive for what you get. One plate is not enough,... More

We tried this place for dinner on a saturday and were happy that we'd made a reservation; the ambience was nice and we had great service from our waitress (and other staff). The menu features fresh items and changes regularly (we returned toward the end of our trip to Prague and had completely different delicious items). Starting with the octopus... More

Five of us happened upon this restaurant for lunch. Seemed like the crowd was pleasantly local as we were the only tourists. Great selection, delicious, lovely setting, good service and well priced.

Our hotel recommended this hidden gem - not typically found on a tourist search and I'm very glad they did. They know their wines and recommended a great one for us - enough so that we bought a bottle to go and take with us home as a momento of our visit. We got hungry and decided to enjoy a... More

One of my best tips in Prague for great wine and stylish food. If you are not very price sensitive and you love european wine, this is a great place to sit down and talk business. Agile waitresses will not let you wait, yet they balance their pro-activity sensitively.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
