Like a few others have mentioned; there is no wine list, and wine choices are made by the house "wine expert". You also have no idea of what the cost is, until you get the check. I also agree with others about the short pours, and also beleive that they are trying to empty bottles that have already been started.... More

Dear cigbar1, First of all I would like to thank you for your review. I'm sorry that your starter was dry. We do it in a vacuum at 60 degrees and then intense meat roasts test before serving. I told to the chef and had to be some mistake and regret it. As for the main course we tried to... More

If you like wine (and maybe tired of drinking beer!) and good food Red Pif is the place to go. Nice restaurant with a great selection of wine mostly coming from France, Czech Republic, Austria. We had a very good time and the food was amazing. I would recommend this restaurant and I would absolutely go there again if I'm... More

Wine bar with only a small selection of dishes, but what is being served, is absolutely amazing. The food is of a very high quality, as are the wines that accompanied with them. We were given the choice between two local wines which we could taste in advance and that matched the food perfectly (I had roasted duck breast with... More

Výborné jídlo, skvělé víno a rychlá obsluha - nejlepší restaurace na Starém městě v Praze. Excellent food, great wine and quick service - the best restaurant in the Old Town in Prague.

Nice restaurant with great wine choices a short walk from the Charles bridge. Comfortable deck to sit and drink wine. Great choice for someone looking to get away from the tourist places. We ordered salmon tartar, rabbit dish and steak. Not many choices for non-meat eaters. Food was delicious!

Bit different in the concept, but nice execution. Great staff made it all work. Food was very good, though they were out of a few items for our later dinner time at 9:15PM. They were great to take a late reservation (called at 8PM when we had plans change) even though the kitchen closes at 10PM (bar closes at 11:30).... More

This is surely one of the best restaurants in prague, great food and local wine which in majority can be consumed by glasses. The menu is very simple becouse of using of local fresh ingrediens. Great experience, recommended! Seson

We went here on our first night in Prague. Food and service was excellent. We had to return on our last night as well. Food was excellent. Very friendly staff. Off the main tourist streets so it's a nicer and more intimate, less "touristy" crowd. I had a cold cucumber soup the first visit. It was a mushroom soup on... More

This was such a fun place to have dinner! The wine bar operates as a tasting room, so you can sample wines from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and France. Each time you choose a kind of wine you'd like to drink, the staff curates a tasting selection from which to choose. We had such fun sampling (and drinking) sparkling,... More
