Delicious meal

We had a delicious meal at red pif, went for the steak and the duck. Menu is limited which goes to show that everything is fresh. We asked for rare and it came very rare verging on blue, so take that into account when ordering. Seating outside was ambient and local wine recommended with what you... read more

I can only recommend this France style restaurant. The meals were very tasty and the service simply fantastic. Our host Klara gave us very good meal recommendation as well as wine pairing. They do not have wine list, but you can relay on yuor host (by us Klara), they know about wine pretty much. I had Tuna tartar, coq a... More

It has been a while since I went to Red Pif with my partner and it still haunts us! One of the best restaurants we have visited and definitely the best in Prague. The green beans in a sauce were exceptional. I am not a vegeterian and I was the kind of person to think of "how good can beans... More

We came here for lunch on our last day. The place was modern, the wait staff was great. Had starters and mains with wine and non alcoholic drink. Food was superb! One of the best meals we had and it was also great value.

Just a great experience. Food was wonderful - mushroom risotto, seared foie gras, duck breast, cold carrot soup. Everything flavorful and delicious. The wine pairings were even better though, we wanted a glass of champagne and they only had a little left in a bottle, we were offered a glass of sparkling Riesling and were not let down. Wine parings... More

My boyfriend and I spent the summer together in Europe visiting various countries. RED Pif was, by far, our favorite dinning experience during the entire trip. With extremely friendly staff, excellent food, and great wine, we would easily recommend this place to anyone in the area.

What a wonderful place. We thought we may be "ripped off" a bit by the wine selection as there is no wine list so were pleasantly surprised when all 4 of the wines we had were excellent value - most expensive (large) glass 79czK, cheapest 65czK. The food, staff and ambience were great too. If we visit Prague again we... More

Went with my family of 4. They have a very nice French flare to the restaurant. Very unique French and Czech wine selection. Good decor in the restaurant, and very nice service. The plating of the food and appetizers are beautiful. Top notch food as well. This is a great place to go for a dinner in Prague.

This nice furnished restaurant gives the place a modern touch. The wines impressed me more than the food. There was a very good local sparkling wine . On the walls the photos of Tono Stano, they are great. Concerning the food: it was ok but not more than that, to expensive for what you get. One plate is not enough,... More

We tried this place for dinner on a saturday and were happy that we'd made a reservation; the ambience was nice and we had great service from our waitress (and other staff). The menu features fresh items and changes regularly (we returned toward the end of our trip to Prague and had completely different delicious items). Starting with the octopus... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
