Description: Lal QIla is named after the Delhi's Red Fort, as it was build with strong and rock solid stone the same lookalike is our restaurant from interior, but if you go deep inside about the story to open this restaurant you felt like the same story which was behind the Red Fort. However, we keep in the mind the taste of India with the spices which we try to bring in Prague and give the best food to our guest. We are trying to keep the balance of service and taste in food to deliver the best outcome as a result we were rated good in Indian restaurant category. We try to satisfy our Customer's as much as we can. We are wishing all the visitors a happy stay and pleasant journey ahead.

Went for business dinner and my Indian friends, after a few days in Europe, had a craving for "home country food". We tested it and it was really good, not "Europeanized" for the local taste, but preserving its originality. All dishes passed the test very well (all the way to the Naan bread), the staff was very nice, and the... More

Been here a few times with both friends and my fiancé (who is Indian). Food, service and atmosphere is good. With few Indian restaurants in Prague Lal Qila is one of the better ones. Recommended!

I have been twice there in last 6 months and always left with my stomach so full that I was afraid I won´t never eat again :) The restaurant is calm and friendly place. The prices are slightly above average but the food is worth it. You will get the menu for 2 persons, including table wine and water (which... More

We had been told by our tour guide earlier in the day that we wouldn't find a decent cheap Indian in Prague. Well, what did he know!!! This place is fantastic, yes it is a little off the beaten track but worth the visit. My boyfriend and I both had popadoms, a main course, naan bread and a drink for... More

After I've lived in India for a couple of months our visit to Lal Qila was the first time in Europe that I ate Indian food again - and it was truly amazing. The Masala blends were amazing, so it made me feel being back in India again.. Big thumbs up!

We and my girlfriend went to this Indian when we were in Prague. Was an absolutely lovely meal, would definitely go again. The only problem we had was that they never served Rose wine by the glass.

Another restaurant introduced to us while visiting our son who was working in the republic. Don't expect a UK style eatery with Indian staff and decorations. This is a Czech take on serving Indian food in a comfortable setting with very friendly service. It does not churn out pink tikka or bland Bhuna you get excellent Indian influenced food. The... More

A little hard to find but well worth the effort. One of the best Indian meals in my life. The chicken tikka masala is exceptional. Fantastic blending of spices in every dish.
