Description: Lal QIla is named after the Delhi's Red Fort, as it was build with strong and rock solid stone the same lookalike is our restaurant from interior, but if you go deep inside about the story to open this restaurant you felt like the same story which was behind the Red Fort. However, we keep in the mind the taste of India with the spices which we try to bring in Prague and give the best food to our guest. We are trying to keep the balance of service and taste in food to deliver the best outcome as a result we were rated good in Indian restaurant category. We try to satisfy our Customer's as much as we can. We are wishing all the visitors a happy stay and pleasant journey ahead.

Another restaurant introduced to us while visiting our son who was working in the republic. Don't expect a UK style eatery with Indian staff and decorations. This is a Czech take on serving Indian food in a comfortable setting with very friendly service. It does not churn out pink tikka or bland Bhuna you get excellent Indian influenced food. The... More

A little hard to find but well worth the effort. One of the best Indian meals in my life. The chicken tikka masala is exceptional. Fantastic blending of spices in every dish. This restaurant is Unique in my point of view. When we entered we thought we stuck in yard but the time when we started order from starter like chicken 65 with Murg Shorba and Onion Bhaji and then order for Chicken Korma and Chilli Garlic Naan the only words come out and that was WOW... Service was excellent and good... More

We have dined here pretty much since it opened and we are happy to see how popular it has become. Only just joined Tripadvisor, which is the reason for the delayed review. Everyone seems to think their local Indian restaurant is the best, so you will always get up and down reviews, but for my money this is the best... More

We are here for 5 days from Spain but areBritish and this restaurant does not come upto the standard anywhere near those that we have athome. We orderedpapads that themenu says are "topped" with spices, chutney. Everyone knows that papads break off so we asked for the chutneys in separate pots. This we had to accompany our very oily papads.... More

Great Indian food with and authentic flavour. Nan bread is one of the best I've ever tried. Service was good but only criticism would be why we needed to keep our cutlery between courses??

In Italska (Italian) Street there is a student canteen of the University of Economics. How surprised I was to find Lal Quila on the other end! I ran into it quite accidentally, searching for a Sunday lunch in the area. The personnel made me feel like a special guest even before I've ordered a meal! To keep the story short:... More

One of the best Indian places in Prague. I did offend the waiter by asking if they did chips (I like to dip), they didnt! :-( But they did do the best garlic nann I have ever tasted and the onion bahjis were amazing. It was a lovely cosy, warm and romantic setting. Only issue which is very tiny, they... More
