We tried to reserve a table at Alcron, which was fully booked, but was recommended La Rotonde instead. We were certainly not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food fantastic! I had a 5 course menu together with a wine menu. One of the waiters (sommerlier?), Nick, picked fantastic wines and both he and his colleagues described with empathy... More

The Acron restaurant recently received one star in Michelin guide, and deserves it. I spent almost 2 weeks in the Radisson, and tried several times la Rotonde and once the Acron. I can say that this is similar cuisine (there can't be two different chefs for each, right?), I noticed similarities in both menus and noticed the exact same dessert... More

The service is average, they forgot about the wine and we had to continually ask for it to be re-poured and like most places they don't seem too eager to bring the check over in an expedited manner. Soups were delicious and the truffle pasta was phenomenal.

My wife and I are regular guests visiting Saturday brunches on a monthly basis. As we visit other brunches in Prague too, we have enough experience to say that this is definitely the best Saturday event of this type in Prague. A very wide choice of salads, two season soups, delicious starters, several main dishes (roasted duck in a traditional... More

Arrived at the hotel a bit weary from a week of work and travel, decided to stay in for dinner. Great decision as La Rotonde was excellent. High quality international food, nice wine list, and perfect service. It's clear that the high standards set by the neighboring high-end Alcorn Restaurant are met here as well, may just eat here again... More

We went to the Last Rotonde for dinner and were not disappointed. The food was very delicious. The waiters are what you are looking for. Very friendly and attentive. Maybe the wine is a bit overpriced.

On our second night at the hotel we tried this restaurant. We first wanted to go to the Alcron Restaurant but we were not disappointed with La Rotonde! We chose a five course menu and liked every part of it! The service was super friendly and the souschef came to say hi after dinner. All such things made us feel... More

Dinned there both nights of our stay with our travel companions, we are all foodies and know what's great, good and no good! Every meal was exceptional.

The three most important elements of a memorable dining experience are the food, the service and the atmosphere. On the evening of 26th Feb there was the happy coincidence of all three. La Rotonde was our second choice - the more prestigious Michelin starred Alcron being closed - but we were not disappointed. The six course degustation menu was excellent,... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
