The Restaurant Baterka Bílkova is just a few steps from the InterContinental Prague and was recommended by the concierge. The food is reasonably priced and the service is good. A good place to get some Czech food that's just a few minutes away from the tourist traps around the old town square and Charles Street.

The best thing? Food. Interesting, you can try as well something traditional, as something new, and both types of food were great. Main courses were a little small. Good service - waitress knew exactly when to appear at our table. Prices were alright also. Interiors looks like mexican restaurant(which didn't match to the served food a little), and you can... Our order was svíčková (douplings with beef and typical czech vegetable sauce) and salmon crepes. Svíčková was the worst I ever had! It was made from some old ox, meat tasted really funky. Sauce was very thick and visually reminded goulash. Crepes were solid though we both finished less than 1/10 of our food. It is the first time that... More

Good service but the food was nothing to brag about; we had tried the same Czech food elsewhere and my boyfriend is Czech and we knew it wasn't made properly.

Me and my husband went here for a three course lunch. We ordered cheese starters, gulash and a czech potatoe soup, and finished off with chocolate crepes. Everything we ate was so tasty and just a delight. The portions were big and reasonably prized. We can definitely recommend this place!

Diner at this place is absolutely worth a try. Casual, but plenty of choice, mix of Italian, Czech and steaks / burgers. Friendly staff, music channel on TV screens, so fun to be there. Had shrimps, steak, beer, and some capuchinnos, and it was all pretty good. Spent only CZK 500 for this all.

Pork Ribs is really nice. The price is not that bad. Starters are less than 100 czk. Main disk 150-300 czk.

Well I was in this restaurant with few of my friends. Service wasn't attentive at all, was confused (even though there was almost 1 waiter for 2 tables) and quite rude. I understand, that probably most of the guests are tourists, but they definitely shouldn't speak about the guest as about an ***hole, especially in front of some other guests...... More

Looking for vegetarian food, we were guided by trip advisor to Baterka. Dissatisfied with the con act that the Jewish tourist quarter had carried out on us (we got a go to all but one attraction ticket, but got conned into no entrance to the old new synagogue), we needed more than good food. Baterka's quesadilla with little greek salad... More
