Very satisfying pork

Traditional Czech food at reasonable prices! The roast pork hock is an absolute must try. For approximately 269kč you get to pamper yourself with perfectly roasted pork baked in dark beer which is absolutely delicious! Service was relatively good and portions at Baterka are resonable. Went there for lunch we got beers and our kids asked for tap water. They got us two carafes of water (which was way more than we needed). At the end of the meal we were surprised to find out they charged us 35CZKs per carafe. Not a big expense but they should have told us. We got a burger,... More

Our hotel staff told us about this little restaurant. It was right around from our hotel, and all the staff spoke English. They have some traditional Czech dishes, as well as, some meals Americans are used to.

I usually have a lunch menu once a week and I was never disappointed. If you like good food for reasonable price it's a good choice.

Lunch yesterday was at the intercontinental hotel- good and expensive, so today's prices are extremely good! The food is ok to good, not great but the staff were polite and bilingual and so we tried some traditional food and regular (for me) food. Smoking allowed:( Set up is good for lunch but I would not have dinner here. B.

After deciding to go somewhere else for lunch, ended up here as it had good reviews. Weren't disappointed! Friendly staff great atmosphere. We ordered Czech local dishes, potato soup and beef goulash. Both were decent portions and very delicious - especially for the price. Two meals, two beers and a hot wine came to about 500 crowns which was really... More

We noticed this restaurant while strolling in the Jewish area and were tempted to enter because of the reasonable prices and the fact that it was obviously busy. We were not disappointed. My husband had the fried cheese and I had spaghetti bologna isle, which was excellent. Service was quick and the lunch was very reasonably priced.

We visited the restaurant on 6th November unexpectedly because we haven't planned to have a lunch on Jozefov. We have found it by an accident and it was good choice. Restaurant was busy but the waiter found a table for us. The service is quick by the way but it was strange for me when they served soup together with... More

The restaurant is just at the corner entrance to the InterContinental Hotel. This was great for tired feet. With our limited experience with Czech cuisine we were pleased with our goulash and pork. Service was friendly and not pesky. Just right.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city.
