Amade is in the heart of the old city of Prague in a superbly renovated baroque "Pachta" palace. The restaurant's name suggests a connection to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Amade being his nickname), who used to spent time in this palace during his visits to Prague. The Amade cuisine is as intriguing and unique as Mozart's music.Visit us for an impressive culinary experience, be it a multi course meal or just a coffee and an amazing plum pie. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Charles Bridge in a private setting, whether you come for a VIP business lunch or a candlelit romantic dinner. To complement our a la carte menu, we also offer breakfasts and daily lunch menus for a very modest price.Contact us if you would like to book the restaurant for private parties, catering or gift certificates.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our way to the National Theatre for the ballet, we were not disappointed! Staff were very friendly, service was great. We were very limited for time so just had a main course each, I had Chicken with veg and dumplings and my partner had the prawn curry, both were absolutely delicious. Our... More

Went for dinner one night between Christmas and New Years Eve. The restaurant was surprisingly empty, but the service was great and very friendly. The food was delicious and, as someone with Celiac disease, they were knowledgeable about gluten-free options and had a menu indicating which items were gluten-free. The ambiance was comfortable, bright, and open. I would definitely return.

We ate here our last night in Prague and this place is right by the Charles. Lovely room, although quite casual. Service was very warm and friendly. Food was excellent and it was very comfortable. Would definitely go here again.

walked in off the street for lunch with my partner. The restaurant was empty but we were hungry. We were "greeted" by a waitress who looked so disinterested. left sitting here over half an hour for a club sandwich and chicken. ridiculous.

My Parents, boyfriend and I ate here on our last evening in Prague and it was an unforgettable experience. My Venisson Wellington ( Venisson tenderloin wrapped in pastry) was so unbelievably delicious and was the best thing I ever ate in a restaurant. Also the rest of my party were very happy about their choices. Our waiter was very tentative... More

Very friendly staff and calm relaxing atmosphere. Very nice selection of food on the menu. All very fresh and beautifully cooked. We had deer stew which was not really a stew, but delicious beautifully presented slices that melted in the mouth. The kids enjoyed deer Wellington and a really great burger. At this price point, a very good experience. Definitely... More

The so-called English and American breakfasts were essentially the same and suffered from the same tough, inedible sausage, tired over-cooked fried eggs and ever so ordinary orange juice. One of our group had an omelet, the only hot item to have come directly from the kitchen. The buffet appeared unimpressive... and very expensive.

Went here as part of our birthday pampering day. A set 'taster" menu, home-made chicken liver paté with marinated figs; Parsley cream soup with smoked salmon and bacon foam; Poached fillet of seabass with tomato risotto; Ragout of deer with mushrooms and potato gnocchi followed by plum toffee "Amade" cake with plum compote. Oh goodness, what a delight in every... More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
