Amade is in the heart of the old city of Prague in a superbly renovated baroque "Pachta" palace. The restaurant's name suggests a connection to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Amade being his nickname), who used to spent time in this palace during his visits to Prague. The Amade cuisine is as intriguing and unique as Mozart's music.Visit us for an impressive culinary experience, be it a multi course meal or just a coffee and an amazing plum pie. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Charles Bridge in a private setting, whether you come for a VIP business lunch or a candlelit romantic dinner. To complement our a la carte menu, we also offer breakfasts and daily lunch menus for a very modest price.Contact us if you would like to book the restaurant for private parties, catering or gift certificates.

Charming Restaurant

We ate breakfast here twice. It's close to Charles Bridge and the food is simple yet filling. We recommend it.

When i came in the restaurant, the waitress was not attentive, which made us a little unhappy. Food and drink here were nice, and i recommend chicken breast. Chef was attentive. Good environment.

First time in Prague so no experience with restaurants here. This gamble was certainly worth the visit. Very nice prepared dishes and a killer Pinot Noir for a decent price. We wanted to reserve a table just to sure but the staff pointed out that that would be necessary. Turned out the place was full in the evening but they... More

The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable for the attentive service and the gastronomical adventure on which you will embark. Overall description would be a classy restaurant with a diverse menu and picturesque views of the bridge and castle.

This restaurant was the best one we tried in Prague. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and food. If you go during Friday or weekend make sure you make a booking in advance. The prices are reasonable for what you experience. We paid at around £17 for 2 people with 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 large glass of traditional beer and... More

Looks expensive from the outside but venture in because you will get good service, fabulous food, friendly staff at reasonable prices. Fabulous views over the river and Charles Bridge so, at night, you can watch the sun set over the castle and the floodlights turn on to highlight the castle - magical!

Amade is like Pragur: elegant, exquisite! The food is absolutely delicious! It was the first restaurant i've ever been to with carefully made vegetarian dishes! But all the dishes are grate because they have a chef. The staff is very friendly and the location is so romantic!

I have organized a dinner at the Amade restaurant for a group of people. I can certainly say that if you are in Prague you need to stop at the Amade restaurant. Food is tasty and staff is always smiling, more than supportive and impeccable. I have already booked for another dinner in few months. I recommend you to try... More

Only had breakfast here once (were guests at Pachtuv Palace). The staff was incredibly friendly, the service was exceptional, but the food was just okay. Had an a la carte meal, so can't say how the buffet was. Would eat here again for lunch or dinner.

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
