Amade is in the heart of the old city of Prague in a superbly renovated baroque "Pachta" palace. The restaurant's name suggests a connection to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Amade being his nickname), who used to spent time in this palace during his visits to Prague. The Amade cuisine is as intriguing and unique as Mozart's music.Visit us for an impressive culinary experience, be it a multi course meal or just a coffee and an amazing plum pie. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Charles Bridge in a private setting, whether you come for a VIP business lunch or a candlelit romantic dinner. To complement our a la carte menu, we also offer breakfasts and daily lunch menus for a very modest price.Contact us if you would like to book the restaurant for private parties, catering or gift certificates.

Excellent Dinner!

We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Amade! My husband ordered the duck and it was excellent. One of the best he's ever had. I had the chicken and it was superb as well. Andra, our waiter, was very friendly and extremely attentive even though we were sitting outside in the courtyard and he was also... read more

We're told in Prague it's tough to be treated nice by employees. The staff here works very hard. We only had breakfast. That department needs a lot of help. Very minimal choices for such a luxury property. Great part was the juicer, but same carrots & apples every day. Need variety.

We enjoyed the Tasting menu (created by chef Radek Subrt) very much. Fresh and quality food, lovely service and enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended for special moments or romantic dinner.

The service was excellent. The food taste very very good. The staff were very courteous and polite. They all speak good English. The ambience was fresh and secure. The price was reasonably cheap. The location is just few steps away from our hotel. It is close to the center of the city attractions. Beautiful!

After a bad dining experience the night before, I remembered that this restaurant, close to the Charles Bridge, was given good reviews on Trip Advisor. I was not disappointed! The lunch special was roast pork with a barley risotto - simple but yummy! The chocolate raspberry cake for dessert was divine, too. The wait staff were very good and professional.... More

We had breakfast here in the mornings as we staying in the Pachtuv Palace hotel. We also dined here one evening, and the meal was excellent. My hubby had lamb shanks and I had prawns in a red curry sauce with rice. It was excellent. Followed by cinnamon ice cream and apple compte. Excellent and yummy. Good wine list too.

Group of 11 friends and family visiting Prague for milestone birthday celebration. We made an online reservation, then needed to change the reservation time that afternoon-person answering the phone was very accommodating, even though restaurant was packed that night. Room is attractive and menu has usual hits for Czech cuisine, all very well executed, tasty garnishes and sauces, and moderate... More

When i came in the restaurant, the waitress was not attentive, which made us a little unhappy. Food and drink here were nice, and i recommend chicken breast. Chef was attentive. Good environment.

First time in Prague so no experience with restaurants here. This gamble was certainly worth the visit. Very nice prepared dishes and a killer Pinot Noir for a decent price. We wanted to reserve a table just to sure but the staff pointed out that that would be necessary. Turned out the place was full in the evening but they... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
