Excellent Italian food and wine

Excellent food, and beautifully presented. Good selection of wines, and a nice atmosphere. I eat here 3 times, during my 2 trips to Prague in 2015, and was not disappointed once.

For me dining out should be a magical experience where your thirst is slated and your hunger is fed, deliciously and ideally in an attractive environment. I liked the environment however I've enjoyed better wines by the glass and our food was well, ok. Nothing to complain about but nothing to write home about either.

The quality of the food is excellent, but portions are very small for the price payed. The waiter who served us were not very friendly and we waited for the food to arrive way too long and without any apology. Very disappointed! So if you are looking for a good dinner out experience I don't recommend this restaurant.

From the service to the rafined dishes, this restaurant was a big surprise in the middle of the city centrum. The restaurant mixes modernity and old Italian warmness. Wonderful place!!

Service and food just average. Waitress took wrong order and charged us the full amount of the more expensive meal.

I'm usually very easy going with food but this place was unfortunately awful. The wine list was extensive but no one on the staff could explain it to you. The food menu was limited and we were told the potato soufflé was unavailable after we ordered our main. What came was stone cold and lumpy mashed potato, the beef was... More

We found this place on our last night in Prague quite by accident. Before I start I do agree that it's a little overpriced for Prague; but not when compared to UK prices. The same meal in Britain would have been 40/50% more in my opinion. For starter I went for the Emilian sausage which was very juicy. For main... More

Arrived on spec before attending a concert. Place was empty. Offered an extortianately priced bottle of wine and cheaper choice no different to bottle of wine at third of the price. Husband enjoyed his beef but with my three pieces of monkfish some bread and wine totalled1755 csk. Most expensive and uninspiring meal we had in Prague

A last minute choice, on the recommendation of the hotel staff, when they knew we wanted Italian food, a change from the Czech food we had been eating for a few days. From outside, the restaurant, hidden away from the main square, did not look remarkable. Inside, the decor was nice. We had the basement floor, all to ourselves. Our... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
