Like many previous reviews, this establishment gives a very bad taste to Czech hospitality. Although it was recommended by the hotel staff, it proved to be a disappointing experience. There is nothing wrong with the food although it is most unremarkable for Czech cuisine. The issue is in how the service is provided and the customer is treated. A basket... More

Very friendly restaurant and great service. We enjoyed traditional Czech food and apple strudel as a dessert was a perfect choice.

Hungry during our first night walking around Prague we were afraid of the restaurants by the Charles Bridge being very pricey. When we checked the menu for this one, we realized the prices were quite OK for such a good location. The gentleman working at the door asked us where we came from and he talked German to us as... Just had a very good meal at this restaurant. A nice touch is that they ask you where you are from and then place a flag of your home country on your table. Turned put we were dining beside greeks, Koreans, boring Chinese, and fiery Italians. We ordered Czech beer and food. Both came very quickly. The food tasted very... More

Traditional Czech dishes served in a charming setting. Huge menu with many local dishes including duck, lamb and goulash. Owner and server were friendly and welcoming - totally went out of their way to make us feel at home. The food was good and the prices were reasonable

Was here to eat after a "Pusher-in" caught us. The food was perfect and so was the beer and service, but, when the bill came which was about 760 koruna there was also a small paper bit recommending that we should pay 860 to include the tip. At all the restuarants we visited we were really please with the service... More

Very warm welcome form an English speaking waiter. We were shown to a table within a series of arches where messages had been written all over. We had a good entertaining read whist waiting for our food. Good menu with plenty of choice. The time waiting for our food indicated it was being cooked to order and on arrival we... More

Excellent position, just by Charles Bridge, Castle side. Man in street encouraged us in. We only wanted light snack and weren't disappointed. Nice atmosphere within, attentive bar man. Very good value for money .

Right on Malo Stranska this restaurant is probably aimed more at tourists . The food is average and could be better with more care for the ingredients used, having said that, it's palatable if uninspiring. It has a long hallway from the front which is a bit draughty......a refurbishment could cosy it up a bit.
