Description: This was a traditional old Czech restauraunt, half way from the "Lemon Leaf" to the river Vltava on your map of Prague. We had a very tasy meal here, and would recommend it more highly than the U Flecku nearby.

We had the best meal of our Europe travels here! We had the goulash soup in a bread roll with a beer, couldn't fault it. The atmosphere was great although the service was a bit unattentive but we had a great time non the less and highly rate this place.

Get better service in McDonald's, start with tube and trying to rush our order and then as my friend is vegetarian and asked for a side dish they were kind of rude and said we could go somewhere else, anyway we ate here.. Food not great and because for the 10% of the bill they add for a tip which... More

Walked in randomly for something to eat. Service was non-existant, and the waiter did not really care to listed our drinks order fully but tried to rush away after first sentence... Drinks and food did came in relatively quickly, and food was decent for the price (was very hungry, so anything is good). Prices were within standards, however the end... More

Walking along I thought that looks nice. Sat down waited-a bit- waitress appears takes order. Waits -a bit- waitress appears. Finish drinks, now only customers outside. Which is probably just as well, as we are alone. In the end had to go inside to pay. So if you like slow to non existent service. This is the place for you

We went here since it was so close to our hostel but I was not impressed. It was my first time having goulash actually in Prague and I did not like it. The meat was so fatty I had no desire to eat it. The potato pancakes were burnt and incredibly salty which was also difficult to eat. On top... More

Good beer and very friendly and welcoming staff. There were no other tourists on both nights we went. Food is fantastic and arrives piping hot in large portions. The decor in the non smoking section is a fantastic conversation starter. I would highly recommend it.

They urged us all the dinner off. In the end when we asked for the bill it has a "voluntary" surchrge of 10% for the service, handwritten on the official bill. Pathetic

Had tried a couple of traditional Czech restaurants on our brief stay in beautiful Prague. This was out best experience. Classic dishes served with a modern presentation, with garnish and etc, but not over the top. I had the pork schnitzel which was excellent. Serves of vegetables were large, tasty and cheap. Lots of butter and cream and bacon used... More

On the first visit I had a goulash made with chicken hearts and some local bread, with this you got a beer for 200Ck. Very tasty and extremely filling, light supper sufficed. My partner had a garlic soup... More

We ate here once and had late night drinks 3 nights. The staff were friendly, efficient, attentive, the atmosphere was really good and we always managed to get a table, even though they were always busy. The food was ok to good, typical pub food, hearty and tasty. We had soup followed by pork cabbage and dumplings - filling but... More
