Nice Italian Cafe

We stumbled across this restaurant and noted they had a non-smoking dining area which is grea. good selection of wine and also sell some by the glass. Fod was well presented and taste good. Good coffee too.

We have visited this pleasant cafe several times. They have really good and sweet cakes, really pleasant services and nice atmosphere.

This cafe was a block away from the VRBO we were staying at. My wife and I both had "American" breakfasts (which come at reasonable American prices, ~$10), but were quite good and came with excellent coffee. The service was great and the food quality was top notch, would certainly recommend.

This is my favourite coffee place so far. As our second visit to Prague, our friends took us here many times to see if by any chance we find the famous "chocolate cheesecake". Unfortunately we didn't find it, but still we enjoyed their great coffee and delicious cakes, my favourite so far would be the coconut cake.

Nice place, pleasant atmosphere, kind staff, interesting menu, delicious deserts. The only drawback was, that the food was not really warm when served, otherwise it was really tasty.

When 2 southern californians are in eastern and central-european countries for 12 days, cravings for fresh soups and salads get pretty intense. So my husband and i were soooo happy to have a delightful meal at Colore. The place is obviously adored by the locals as well as "over-potato-ed travelers". Martin has worked with some of the finest hotels and... More

Really nice place. Service was exceptional. They were so nice I almost felt bad to leave! Food was outstanding, wine was fabulouse and the place was full of locals. The interior was highly finished without being pretentious. Couldnt advise you to go there enough

More of a restaurant than a cafe - in a good way! Excellent food and a wonderfully random wine list. We went for a local white wine (I think!) which would easily rival any wine I would usually have. Brilliant service from polite, English speaking staff.

Well I've came in to try traditional Czech soup 'Kulajda' that I think is one of the best soups... unfortunately in Cafe Colors it is more an instant soup far away from any Czech tradition: too sweet while potato cubes have cocked separately... really disappointing Svickova name smetane as main dish I had has been of dry meat Cannot recommend... This is a great place to take a break from exploring Prague. The inside is really pretty and the service is excellent (very polite guys and they speak English). This also seems to be a place of choice for many locals so it must be good. We actually went there two times during our 4 day visit one for lunch... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
