A cozy cafe in the center of Prague, where you can have a good evening, a cup of coffee with a cake or a tasty snack. The place is very nice, the waiters are polite. I’ve been to this cafe for 3 times and never had a single complaint to the food or the waiters.

Very friendly place. We just went in for a drink and toilet stop, where I had my first taste of Czech wine - really nice! It was lunch time and the restaurant was absolutely full to bursting. The food being served looked so good that we opted for one of their dishes of the day - an absolutely gorgeous bowl... More

Looking for a 'steak restaurant' my other half popped into Cafe Colore to see if they might helped provide directions to somewhere in the local vicinity. They went one step better by saying we do steaks. So we sat down. We both had the 'Hangar Steak' with pepper sauce & crushed potatoes with bacon. It was elegantly presented & I... More

Good coffee, pleasent atmosphere and great staff. Something of a rare combination to find in Prague. I would highly recommend visiting this place as it is right in the center and it is not your typical, over priced, tourist trap.

Dropped in purely by chance when searching for a spot of lunch. Staff recommended dish was risotto and a local dry white wine. Perfect combination, curteously served, well presented and very tasty.

We had called for a drink on a Thursday evening and enjoyed it so much we came back for dinner the following night. The atmosphere, decor, service and food combine for a very relaxed and enjoyable evening. Our food was excellent - especially recommend the confit duck. The local wine is much better value than any of imported wine and... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
