Great Coffe and Food, Really Nice Place!

This is a great place to take a break from exploring Prague. The inside is really pretty and the service is excellent (very polite guys and they speak English). This also seems to be a place of choice for many locals so it must be good. We actually went there two times during our 4 day visit one... read more

A MUST! We had Caesar salad, Hanger stake with mashed potatoes, Chicken breast with stuffed parmesan and Penne with mushrooms (pasta). All were EPIC! We also had Desserts and they were delicious too! All of that plus 3 glasses of wine for 50euros! We found it by luck and I'm really glad that we decided to go in. You have... More

My friends and I visited Prague for a few days and were looking for a good and cheap place to have breakfast at. Found this one recommended by tripadvisor and due to the great reviews we decided to give it a try. It did not only live up to our expectations but absolutely surpassed them, the food is delicious and... More

Have now been there 2 times, and must say very cosy café/restaurant. Good food to fair prices and the service is nice and quick. Can only recommend it if you are in the hood, I have it categorized as one of my new lunch places in Prag.

Happened upon this restaurant whilst just wandering about one evening. So glad we did. Really nice atmosphere and traditional Czech menu. Had a lovely supper for very little money. And a few good glasses of wine too!

If you are looking for good food at reasonable price, this it the right place in the center. I also like their homemade lemonades.

Many restaurants in Prague were full in the week before Christmas and we had left it late in the evening to find somewhere that would serve just coffee and cakes, having eaten earlier. After being turned away from several busy places, we found the Café Coloré, which was really buzzing. Alas, they were fully booked! The person on reception sensed... More

We visited this restaurant on New Years eve. Considering the restaurant was extremely busy, the service was fantastic. Each course was extremely tasty and the portion sizes were generous, to add to this the food was served at a nice pace. The prices were also extremely reasonable. As a couple, we had 3 courses each along with beer, wine and... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
