Great food

We had an excellent meal here, good menu, staff very friendly, prices very reasonable for standard of food, in a traditional setting.

Read the raving reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to see for myself how good this restaurant is, and they duly delivered. Wild boar was fantastic, coupled with a nice glass of red wine and a chocolate espuma for dessert. All at reasonable price to boot. I'll be coming back again

This restaurant was full of locals the night we ate there. This in itself seems to be testimony to the food, quality, value and service. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff incredible and the dinner was the finest we have eaten for a very long time. Everything about it was perfect. It is definitely the best place to eat in... We were staying in Hotel Pod Vezi and booked a table in this restaurant for dinner on our first night. The prices were very good and the residents discount was a bonus. Service was excellent, a la carte menu had a good choice and the quality and presentation was very good. Best meal that we had during our stay in... More

What can i say but Wow! From starter to desert it was amazing! Seriously tasty food and there was service with a smile with recommendations for what was good on the menu. Couldn't fault this restaurant at all! It was so good we went back again during our short trip to Prague. Definitely needs to be visited!

Had dinner on the first night of our stay in the Hotel. Service was very good, Food great and good value for money (Especially as you get a 15% discount if you are a guest in the hotel. Menu is extensive, would recommend the Soup in Bread and try the Wild Boar.

I booked this restaurant on-line based on other trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. The food was good and not expensive for the quality that it was. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and helpful, recommending good wine to compliment our meal and even persuaded us to have dessert. The location was just by the Charles Bridge which was good... Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
