So we had the Czech plate and some beers. There was duck, two kinds of pork, two kinds of dumplings and some sauerkraut. It was all good and the service was just right. If you are in the area and want some good food with nice ambiance then have lunch or dinner here. Both locals and tourists were eating here.

Very nice restaurant with great traditional Czech food. We arrived quite late (around 23:00) but still got served without a problem. The staff was very friendly and fast, and the food was delicious. Each dish has plenty of food and all prices are cheap as well. A must whenever I visit Prague again!

Came here 5 years earlier, loved the food, ambience and service: nothing has changed! Hard to believe such a gem exists in the middle of tourist land. Last, prices are unbelievably low! In comparison to many good places all over the world, this one is a favourite.

In this touristy area of Prague, restaurants tends to "improve" the standard Czech cooking with generally not good results. This place has no nonsense good Czech food, no nonsense Czech service (i.e. not great, but usable) and Czech pub atmosphere.

We walked a lot and saw a really crowded place, decided to give it a try. It was agreat idea, the staff is kind and fast, they can also give you tips and trick about what to eat and where to go next on discovering the city. The restaurant looks nice, it is clean and their food is totally amazing.... More

Made me a dish I wanted though it wasn't on the menu and though I didn't especially press for it. Not the typical level of customer service you get in a regular restaurant in the Czech rep. (unfortunately, but there you have it). Very good Pilsner and solid atmosphere. Could be fully non-smoking, though.

They forgot me even though reminded once. Obviously I didn't pay for the food. They could have been more sorry about the mistake. I still had to pay for my beer, too.

We happen to stop here as it was quite crowded, it was a guarantee of quality. It is simple with a good mixture of selections. We had mixed appetizers, mixed meat (ducks, pork, veal), good choice anyway.

This was our favourite restaurant in Prague because it offered great food (the duck was delicious) and wine at very affordable prices. Our waitress was very helpful in finding us a table on a very busy night and provided great service. She also provided a nice pack for our young daughter who was suffering with a headache.

Went here or lunch and had the duck for 2 people and beer. It was a good and traditional meal for a nice price. Service was quick and friendly. Saw a lot of locals here too which is usually good.
