Whoever comes in Praha must visit this restaurant on the way to Charles Bridge! Homemade food served by 2 gentlemen who own the place! Very nice food, very clean and nice place! A must!

This cozy place reflects the local culture and taste of Czech foods and beers. Very helpful service and great location are also advantages. I would definitely recommend for the travellers who would like to try local food in a cozy atmopshere.

This place is very homely. We were given welcome Becherovka schnapps, then had a very good traditional Czech good and after a long explanation of Czech history also given a hope-to-see-you-soon Slovovic schnapps. All together a good experience

We accidentally found the restaurant and we spent a nice time for dinner. We tasted the traditional goulash and we found it really nice. Furthermore they gave us a nice service. We'd recommend this place.

Four of us went for dinner and had the set 3 course menu which was 290 kr about £7. The most amazing food, real Czech food like goulash, duck and trout. The local wine was 190kr a bottle and was delicious. The proprietor spoke good English, was extremely helpful and very accommodating. One of our party had a nosebleed and... More

There were two different rooms to sit. One of them was in front of the open kitchen, very small with closed windows. We could feel the smell of the burnt oil, as all our clothes got the smell! We were very hungry, otherwise i would leave. The food was nice. They brought bread and butter in the beginning without asking,... More

We accidentally came across this restaurant on our way to eat somewhere else. So glad we did. From outside it looks very un-assuming, almost like somebody's front living room. Don't let this put you off though, they have a great menu and a comprehensive selection of wines to choose from. We ordered 2 starters, 2 main courses and a nice... More

Consists of 2 rooms, each with 3 or 4 tables. We were the only diners in our room, otherwise it would have been a completely different experience I'm sure. Outstanding service, formal yet relaxed. Food was very good, but not great. With a few changes to the menu and perhaps slightly less salt in the cooking, this place would deserve... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
