Avoid. Tourist trap.

Menus dont have prices. U have to ask. Chips on tables are charged without warning. Plus cover and tip. Plus very overpriced. Avoid

Just don't visit this place! We asked them if they had breakfast, the staff said yes. When we walked in and ordered our drinks, they then said the breakfast was over. Second bad thing is they don't tell you the price. We let it slide and decided that we would just have our drinks. The taste was horrible obviously. The... More

On 4 April we were with friends in your restaurant. After entering we were greeted by smiling staff, which we are very pleased. We found that the local price of beer is equal to the price of a small-town taste was excellent. During the evening we order Czech specialties that were super nice and i looked on the table. Prague... More

Like everyone else said they charge an extortionate amount for beer, add a massive tip and try and charge you for crisps that are left on every table. Don't ask for a large beer because both myself and my girlfriend were presented with a 1litre stein of beer! We just paid for our beer and walked away with the waitress... More

The food is fair. They provide chips and bread and then charge you for it. Informed the concierge at the hotel and the concierge said they get complaints all the time about this place. Just don't go.

This restaurant is a good way to find all the ways you can get ripped off: you go in because the location is nice and the price displayed outside is attractive. But when it s time to pay, you'll find out that the dish price they told you was not true, that there is a charge for the 5 chips... More

I have been to Prague many, many times before but this restaurant makes a sickening mark on the great city. There were 4 of us in for lunch. We should have got a warning when the guys asked for large beers and 2 litre steins turned up! But we know this part of town to be quite reasonable so we... More

We took the goulash soup and a tea voor 2 persons and had to pay 490 krones. This was the same price we paid for a whole diner the other day including wine. Never again!

If I had to rate this place it would be minus 100 Stars Avoid Avoid Avoid What a total Rip off. Orderd from a menu that had no prices so didn't have a clue of the total cost. Starter arrived and then main before I had even got a chance to eat starter. Not good food. Customer service Dreadful. When... More

I guess everybody else read the reviews of this restaurant? We didnt and got sucked in by the pushy lady that springs at you when you look at the menu outside. We were all alone on a Friday night. And I mean completely alone. Food was ok. Not to greasy but nothing special. A lot of extra charges on the... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
