We followed Lonely Planet in first visiting this place and weren't disappointed. This Munich-style brewery has a daily menu of local dishes and excellent local tap beer. The food arrived within minutes and prices are a welcome break from the usual tourist rip-offs. Beer was about 40 czk, wine 70, main dishes 100 to 200. Portions are medium for CZ,... More

Was tasty food. Came quickly and the beer was tasty. Not as much ambience as expected and not full of all Czech dishes I was expecting. Obviously eat the fried cheese.

there are many nicer restaurants in prague, less pretentious and less touristic. if making 'honest' food also involves up sizing and tricking people into buying more sides then I'd rather go McDonald's...

Stopped in for a beer and ended up having two each together with a light lunch of chicken broth with dumplings (so light) and also a portion of special sausage which came with mustard and horseradish and a basket of bread. We sat in the bar area as the restaurant was full. There was no smoking that afternoon however when... More

Great tasting soups and fabulous, unfussy food, this place was recommended on here and in guide books and didn't disappoint. The beer was cool and flows fast - the waiter just drops a new half litre off as he walks past if you look like you are nearly at the bottom of your glass, and marks it on your bill.... More

Long hall brewery asburgic style. Fast, not very friendly, hearty food. Menu focused on pork; praga ham, pork neck, pork belly, tripes. Follow me on twitter @foodpasha

Lokál is a new approach to a traditional Czech beer pub. You can have classic with-beer food like tlačenka and talián or just enjoy excellent beer. I always have tatarak which I can trully recommend. The place is quite noisy, but with friendly atmosphere. Notice the decoration on the walls!

We wanted to eat where the people from Prague eat The receptionist of the hotel recommended it. We try a few different sausages a chicken soup, fried cheese, fresh horseradish and a lot of draft beer. The prices are incredibly affordable. The service is quick and the food very good and feelers healthy. They actually write in their menu that... More

It was recommended to us and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, traditional Czech food (no pretension just great grub) and fabulous beer. The staff were very friendly, particularly one member of staff who just keeps bringing more beer! If you want to experience the real Prague with locals you must eat here! Enjoy.
