I was there with my better half, we had three courses. For starters, I had octopus. It was really good and fresh. The wine was also really good (cannot remember the bottle). For main course, we had some veal that the chef recommended. It was sooo tender! One of the best pieces of meat, I have ever had. I had... More

Yes good ambience, the waiter very agreeable and present. We had cod fish as main dish. I'm from Portugal the country that has more than 100 receipts of cod fish and the first consumer of this species. This means we have high standards on these dishes. This said the meal was bellow what I assume to be average standards. The... More

We visited this restaurant during Grand restaurant festifal so we had a festive menu. All three courses were prepared perfectly, the food styling was also excelent and so was service - quick, polite and profesional. At the end of the evening came chef (an also owner) to our table and asked how was our stay. Overall impression is very good... More

Nestled on a quiet, nondescript strret sits one of the best dining experiences in Prague. Chef Steven Trumpfheller is a master in the kitchen, using only fresh ingredients. We enjoyed wonderful corn chowder, delicate halibut with grilled vegetables, and finished with delicious dessert dishes. All the while the atmosphere was made warm and cozy with live piano music (played on... More

The food we had was just delicious. Very tasty, good portions, value for money. The restaurant was nearly empty on Wednesday evening so we could hear each word and also whistling of two waiters. I am really not interested to hear their "ty vole" while having my dinner. I think this should not happen in a place like this. As... More

Fabulous ambience with cozy couches, fireplace and candlelight but the phenomenal seafood dinner was outstanding with the abundance and variety of seafood in a light butter lemon sauce. The chef greeted us personally and helped select a terrific wine and a sinful dessert of chocolate mousse.

The restaurant was just two minutes from our hotel (hotel 16). We took a chance as we had not booked, but we were hungry so went a little early, arriving at 7.30pm there was a table free but the restuarant was surprisingly busy. We were seated quickly by friendly waiting staff who spoke very good english and made to feel... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
