We ate lunch here on Valentine's Day having soup and beetroot risotto with goats cheese which was lovely but the main course (veal's cheeks) was fantastic. The veal's cheeks cut like butter melting in the mouth and came with a gorgeous sauce. We had a lovely bottle of Czech red wine which was worth every penny. The waiter was charming,... More

We stayed at the Red and Blue Design Hotel and found this restaurat by accident. It is down a little lane near Petrin Park and the tram stops. It is a little gem. An old town house converted into a beautiful restaurant. We were there on Valentine's Night and there was a lovers' menu. We took the traiditonal menu which... More

We went twice to this restaurant which is hidden round the corner from Ujezd tram stop on the route 12 or 20,at the foot of Petrin park. The food was tasty and interesting . When I find myself wanting to replicate at home what I have eaten ( for instance the spicy marinated pineapple with fresh coconut ice cream )... More

the pistachio creme brulee was superb, as was the artichoke/marscapone ravioli. we went early (530pm) and were the only ones there, but got excellent service. More

Slightly difficult to find but very popular - definitely recommend booking in advance. We just turned up and they did accommodate us but we sat in sort of the corridor area not the main restaurant. Staff took a little while to warm up ! But having said that the food was excellent. More

Arrived in Prague late and went to the Artisan as it was near to the Red & Blue hotel where we were staying and had good reviews on TA. Excellent service and meal, European menu, average price for a meal in Prague More

The Artisan was well up the pecking order of restaurants in the area so we booked a table for 4. The room was candle-lit and we needed light from our phones to read the menu. The waitress saw this and did nothing. We had noticed on a few occasions in Prague that there was a language barrier which is no-ones fault... More

The food was fabulous - we all tried very different dishes and really enjoyed them. The tomato soup with a basil crouton was lovely, the type of thing served up in some of London's more pricey restaurants but without the pretentiousness. I had some extremely good scallops with a saffron risotto followed by one of the best desserts I've had... More

A bit pricey for Prague, but the restaurant has consistently good quality food and service.  Have been numerous times. More

After many reccomendations this seemed the place to eat. But for me this is just a quiet and dark restaurant with poor service who seem somewhat arrogant when they get things wrong. The problem is people here say yes to understanding things you require when actually they don't usually understand properly and things are either too late or wrong altogether.... More
