Great food and good service, with reasonable prices. We found this place off the beaten path, luckily we got there early because most tables were reserved later. They have limited quantities of the duck - so get there early, it is worth it.

Arrival from Budapest with family, hunger and just beside Leonardo Hotel Old Town we found a local place. We eat alot, drink beer and wine (Local). Suggest Duck and lamb... Very well done. Not expensive at all and very friendly people

prague is a wonderful city. There are many restaurants and we selected this restaurant on a Saturday evening because it was close to our hotel. What we did not realize is how special this little restaurant would be. There is a very small bar at the front and a small dining room with windows out to the street. We each... More

I went to this place due to the countless good reviews I read on TripAdvisor. Usually the reviews match my expectations but in this case it was not quite so. The restaurant is indeed intimate, cozy and quite pleasant and the service is also good. The food on the other side is more expensive than in other places and definitely... More

Great authentic Czeck food in a very intimate setting. We were with our 4 kids ranging from 10 - 22 and they all found something they loved.

There aren't many tables here and there isn't much separation between them, so we felt slightly awkward having any sort of conversation. But the host was welcoming and the food was hearty and well-prepared, so we eventually relaxed and enjoyed being there. The portions are much too large for one person. We should have split both our (delicious) roast vegetable... More

Czech restaurants have a reputation for bad service. That is certainly not the case here. Service is efficient and friendly, going above and beyond what is required. I really like it here. The food is traditional Czech, on the robust side. But it is well prepared and you will find more than the standard dishes, so if gulasch and dumplings... More

My husband, friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this place. We managed to make a booking late afternoon for dinner on the same day. The restaurant is quirky looking in a cute old-fashioned way, with candle lights on the table. The place serves delicious traditional Czech food in generous portions. My friend and I ordered mushroom soup and... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
