Excellent meal in most charming setting

Charming little restaurant with excellent food, wine, and service. Very personable staff. Old world ambiance. Reservations recommended but we just walked in one day and reserved a table for the next night. Great location. Highly recommended.

Having just experienced an incredible dinner across the river at Vidlicky a noze (definitely seek out this neighborhood gem!) we were somewhat let down by our lunch here. The duck and potato pancakes with cabbage were good but beef goulash had a very different sauce than others we've had and it just didn't taste as amazing. Good spot but not... More

My husband and I had dinner here as a celebration. The service was wonderful. We both enjoyed the intimate ambiance. The food is some of the best I've had anywhere in the world. This restaurant is a gem. It's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply go there to feel special. I highly recommend it.

I was really looking forward to a romantic dinner at this restaurant, as I had actually wanted to go the last time we were in Prague but didn't make it. We arrived without a reservation, but still managed to get a table so I was quite pleased with that. The first thing I noticed was that the server (or the... More

WE had just arrived in Prague on a recent afternoon, and were searching for a place to eat. TA mentioned this fantastic place, so we hurried over. We were the only diners, but had a great experience. We ordered a local Pinot Noir with our meal, which was amazing. There was this era 1930´s music playing during most of our... More

Exceptional restaurant My wife and I were staying in Prague for 6 nights at the end of March this year. The first night when we decided to have dinner we by chance encountered this small restaurant - the name of one of my favorite poet attracted our attention. After that we dined at least four times, even not trying to... More

We celebrated my birthday here and it was lovely, a very small quiet restaurant which has only about 20 covers so book if you're planning to go. The waiter was truly excellent and appeared at all the right moments. The meal was very good and it was a very memorable birthday.

There is a lot of Czech specialities to choose from, the food was very good, very clean and comfortable traditional interior design. But the main point for me was the service. That was a very pleasant evening.

Visited this restaurant 26th March as a couple after reading it's good reviews . We were not dissapointed . We both had traditional Czech starters and mains and the quality was exceptional. The ambiance of the restaurant and attentive service made the evening a very pleasant experience and would recommend anyone to try it. Tried to book on line prior... More
