We absolutely loved this restaurant - it's just a few blocks from our hotel and there was a terrible thunderstorm that rolled through so we wanted to eat somewhere close. I am so glad we found it, and my guess is that even though we're here for a full week, we're not going to find a place we like better.... More

We went here on our last night and kept to the czech food theme.I had tried to reserve a table over the internet in advance but could not. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist recomended this restaurant so she phoned for us. When we arrived i mentioned it to the owner and he mentioned that they only have eight... More

Searched this place out after reading about it on trip adviser, luckily I saved it as a favourite, so was able to find it using my iphone. The waiter was really pleasant and helpful and the food was really good too, prices were very reasonable for the standard of place this is and for the food they serve up. Well... More

The outside is displaying "travellers awards" from 2011 and onwards together with a promise of a michelin star. The inside is a cellar with a cozy and easy atmosphere although a bit varm in July. The service of this place is amazing, the vaitor was not to pushy but gave us everything we asked for with a smile. Very polite... More

Found on the day we arrived and had a great (and cheap) lunch, returned a few days latter for a great dinner. Not subtle food, but great flavoured solid local cuisine (and good sized portions!) in a place with a lot of character and a very friendly waiter/manager. Well worth the small detour from the most popular areas just a... More

Stylish restaurant with the beginning of 20th century "artsy/nouveau" theme. Kind of unexpected. Went there twice for dinner. Impeccable service, outstanding food, and very reasonable prices. Portions are HUGE - they give you real 1/2 of the duck, so better to split with a companion, and they even split it for you and bring on separate plates. The same with... More

Lovely lunch in this small Bohemian style restaurant. Quiet & off the beaten track - was recommended by hotel. I had the rabbit which was delicious. Loved the bread & home made butter. Wine a bit pricy though.

An old world style of eating. Nicely apportioned seating in a pleasant restaurant with a tranquil atmosphere. We had a very good meal, with good service and would go back again. I have only reduced the rating due to the high price for a bottle of wine, it was OK but £30 a bottle it wasn't. Maybe I should have... More

Went there yesterday for an early dinner. We both had the mushroom soup, which was quite different but still tasty, and shared the duck. Duck main course is big even when shared. I don't particularly like Czech dumplings (they can be quite dry) so I'd recommend asking the waiter, who btw was lovely, to swap maybe for mash or pancakes.... More
