The restaurant was located near our hotel (Leonardo). It has great atmosphere, many locals and few tourists. The service was very good, English speaking and super friendly. We ordered two Czech specials from the menu which were excellent ! Even the beer was so good... We took a lot of pictures of the restaurant itself, it is truly special. This... More

They only take reservations by phone but I was able to with only two days notice after arriving in Prague. A short walk from the Charles Bridge and wonderful atmosphere. Very unique and comfortable. We ordered the warm goat cheese with cranberries and walnuts and roasted vegetables along with a mushroom scramble to share for starters. Ate every bite. Traditional... More

This cozy restaurant serving traditional Czech cuisine is worth a try. It is situated slightly off the main tourist route, but still within the Old Town area. I must admit that I really liked the fact that the waiter spoke perfect English, which made our communication a lot easier. A minute after we sat down, we were served a knob... More

We stopped here to rest our feet and had a beer. It was early and we didn't want to eat but the ambience albeit quiet that time of the afternoon (about 5.00pm) you feel as though you have stepped back 100 years.

Our hotel recommended this for a traditional Czech meal , you have to visit this restaurant. One person waits the tables with very little fuss & is clearly passionate about providing amazing food in a calm setting. A building with character which is tastefully decorated. The food is very fresh and tasty, with large portions. The house Czech wine is... More

If you want a traditional Czech meal when in Prague, you have to visit this restaurant. Run by Tomas, who is clearly passionate about providing amazing food in a romantic setting. Very unusual building, tastefully decorated, with great personal service from the owner. The food is something special though, so tasty and fresh, and you will certainly not leave hungry... More

We found this by chance. Were a bit skeptical that we were the only ones there, turned out to be one of the best meals I've had in a restaurant. Very romantic. Loved the rabbit! Service was great!

We ordered the salmon and half a crispy duck. Excellent. The mushroom soup and mushroom scramble were really good as well. The atmosphere is very relaxing and on a quiet street.

Positive aspects: + very nice location, close to the Vltava River and the touristic center of Prague + Very old building: we were eating in a cave which seem to come from the XVth century + Nice atmosphere with old-style paintings at the wall, old typical Czech music in the background + Extremely friendly and generous employee: speaks several languages,... This restaurant was right next door to the Hotel Leonardo, where we stayed. We liked the restaurant so much that we ate there twice--great mushroom soup, homemade blue cheese, salmon, schnitzle, lamb "knees" and crispy duck (their signature dish). Be forewarned, portions are substantial. Also, the apple strudel is to die for.
