My friend and I went for breakfast and were surprised by the tasty coffee (in like a real big cup, so nice!) and lovely muesli/yoghurt/fruit and delicious salmon bagel with cream cheese. The local yoghurt and fresh fruits with muesli cost all together just around 4 euros which is nothing compared to the quality and taste. Definitely recommend this for... More

Came here for brunch on Saturday noon and even though it looked crowded, we still got seat outside on the terrace - beautiful setting. Waiter was excellent, the coffee was amazing and food was great, definitely recommend for brunch or coffee and dessert!

My partner and I visited Cafe Lounge for breakfast while on holiday in Prague. The service was great, the food delicious (with some good vegetarian options) and the design of the restaurant was well thought out, we especially loved the Sudoko puzzle that came with our Cappuccino Grande.

We ate here twice and thought it was excellent on both occasions. Both were lunches but it would be an equally good option for breakfast, dinner or just a coffee or glass of wine. The menu was not extensive but included interesting and well thought out options that are a nice contrast the the fairly heavy food in many Czech... More

Had breakfast. Coffee is outstanding in variety and quality. Barista was out of this world. Food was exception, great variety on menu and excellent outdoor patio. Would definitely go back if we return to Prague.

Stopped by for lunch there caught by surprise with a sudden rain. We wanted to have coffee there, since this cafe is known for that, but the lunch was a great nice surprise as well. My wife greatly enjoyed the soup (german sausage and potato soup that was surpisingly light) and the salad. I had beef neck that was so... More

We stayed in Prague for 6 days and went to this restaurant for breakfast for 5 days. The selection was awesome. I highly recommend the omelet. It was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was great. Very reasonable price.

Visited for coffee and dessert and glad we took the time to locate it. We sat in a comfortable and cozy backyard dining area. The Irish Coffee was the best I have ever tasted. When served the wait staff made sure to instruct us on the "correct" way to sip. If you love coffee you will appreciate this place.

We are staying at the Hunger Wall Residence and how fortunate for us that this lovely cafe was downstairs. We have dined in and also had food delivered to our room. (Much easier with a 7 month old baby than going out over her bed time). We have been fortunate enough to try a few dishes and they have always... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
