We're constantly on the hunt for good coffee in Prague, so this morning the team of guides decided to have our staff meeting in Cafe Lounge, so we could scope it out. The decor is beautiful and full of very nice historical touches, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We tried the vacuum coffee out of curiosity; it was... More

Cosy little cafe close to the Lesser Quater with amazing food and inrivaled coffee. If you come here be sure you try the Japneese Vacum pot as that is simply a must. Over the summer the restaurant can even arrange for you a picknic basket that you can take up to Petrin.

I was so happy I found this restaurant. The setting is lovely and clean. The food was incredible. I had a carrot soup with orange which divine. I never tasted something like this before. Afterwards I took the olive focaccia with halloumi and grilled vegetables. Perfect. The staff is friendliest I had since I arrived in Prague!

Small restaurant tucked away in a quiet street. We chose to come here for lunch after reading reviews on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. He had well-cooked interesting Czech food with a good selection of tempting puddings all at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and the service and atmosphere were good, worth a visit

Talented and knowledgeable barista serving top quality micro roasted coffee from European Roasters. If you are looking for amazing coffee, beautiful decor and atmosphere, and delicious food (the chorizo the and the eggs Florentine were perfection) then this is the place for you. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Our family decided after the disappointment when booking lunch in another prague restaurant for this place. We know it after few visits, but we have always enjoyed "only" excellent coffee and cakes. Now we have needed the big table for 10 people and festive lunch to celebrate our son's Charles University graduation. Our choice was - Baked goat cheese with... More

We followed our guide book to this restaurant which is a bit far from downtown, not far from the memorial to the victims of communism. The food is excellent, modern czech style, well cooked and nicely presented. Need to arrive early, the kitchen close at 9pm

I loved this little place. The food was delicious, the service great, the atmosphere, decor and furnishings very pleasant. A welcome discovery after some not so good experiences of food in other locations in Prague. Would definitely recommend a visit both for lunch and dinner.

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
