We were really looking forward to eating here as it was top rated but we waited more than an hour for our order ( breakfast ) .... We did ask twice how long we would have to wait but were told it was being made .... Eventually they realised that they had forgotten to put our order through and offered... More

I ordered the fruit salad, yogurt and muesli. I know it's simple but you would be surprised how many people get something simple wrong. The yogurt is tasty and the granola was full of many surprises. The cake buffet looked and smelled amazing. From viewing other dishes tat came out I wish I tried more. Staff was great and you... More

I have been here for a dinner and after few days I have returned to have lunch. Each time food and drinks were splendid. Their menu is impressive and I am actuality sad I will not be able to try their weekend breakfast menu. Definitely place to go when visiting Prague.

A friend of mine introduced me to the Cafe Lounge a few years ago and I have been going regularly ever since. It is a great location, cozy and quiet atmosphere, attentive service and very good and healthy food. The prices are reasonable and everyone gets tap water for free :-)

A nice Café a bit off the beaten track, but easily reachable with the tram. Nice and quiet garden in the backside courtyard. The coffee is a bit too third wave and light roasted for my taste, but that's the current style I suppose. There's a large selection in coffee to choose from and nearly every preparation technique available. I... More

My friend and I went for breakfast and were surprised by the tasty coffee (in like a real big cup, so nice!) and lovely muesli/yoghurt/fruit and delicious salmon bagel with cream cheese. The local yoghurt and fresh fruits with muesli cost all together just around 4 euros which is nothing compared to the quality and taste. Definitely recommend this for... More

Came here for brunch on Saturday noon and even though it looked crowded, we still got seat outside on the terrace - beautiful setting. Waiter was excellent, the coffee was amazing and food was great, definitely recommend for brunch or coffee and dessert!

My partner and I visited Cafe Lounge for breakfast while on holiday in Prague. The service was great, the food delicious (with some good vegetarian options) and the design of the restaurant was well thought out, we especially loved the Sudoko puzzle that came with our Cappuccino Grande.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
