Couldn't find a normal filter coffee, but the Lattes we got were very tasty. Service was good, and the place looked clean and even somewhat classy. On the pricey side, but worth the money.

What a pity that an otherwise nice place was completely ruinded by the very very arrogant male waiter. This seems to be a recurring problem, as other reviews are complaining about this same issue.

Small Cafe & Restaurant but exceptional food. Not a large menu but quality of food was outstanding. Breakfasts were very good and amazing value for money.

For those who enjoy a nice ristreto, this place is mandatory. The quality of the beans along with the extremely good preparation gives you one of the best cup of coffee in Europe.

We stayed in the hotel just above this coffee, so we went down for breakfast one morning (we had to book that beforehand). The food was very tasty, we liked the eggs and the fruit with muesli and yogurt. We also ordered some sweet cakes that they had in the corridor, but they were not too good. The service was... More

This is a lovely restaurant. The staff was attentive, the food was prepared quickly, and every bite was excellent. It was the sort of cafe that made you wish you were 30 years younger and just falling in love. The prices seemed very reasonable (we are so easily impressed, coming from California's Bay Area, where a bargain meal is anything... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Café Lounge, so much so that we returned the next day for lunch which was equally delicious. The coffee is excellent, food healthy and tasty, and the wait staff very attentive. I ordered the omelet which came in its own pan and was served with delicious artesian breads. My husband order the local sausage with... More

We got tired of eating our hotel breakfast so decided to venture out to this gem. Apparently we got lucky to get a table right away because we saw several people get turned away if they had more than 4 people. So make a reservation just to be safe! The food was amazing. They had a wide variety of quality... More

My partner and I visited this place because we wanted some coffee and it was a good idea. Ve both liked it. But the service was a little rude and unpleasant.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
