Read a few reviews on tripadvisor so decided to try this out as we was local. Food wise.. semms like we had food that was prepared from 2 weeks back and ps. no need for salt they must have dipped this in the sea before serving it. With only 4 tables of customers and about triple the amount of staff... More

We would only recommend this restaurant only if you have the whole day to wait for some salty average food with terrible customer service that is 2 times more expensive than local delicious pub food.

The atmosphere here is great. We thought the dining room was very nice and it helped welcome our tour group. This was exactly the type of meal I was hoping for. The food was very good though we all had the same meat and dumplings. Of course they had the standard options for children and I believe vegetarians as well.... More

After touring the opera house in this beautiful city, we ended up in the lower level at this restaurant serving traditional Czech food. The dining hall was absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere was very festive. We ordered several Pilsner beers and meals which included soaps and salads. The soups were excellent and the service by the wait staff was superior.... More

We visited here as a group of 16, good service, good food, large portions, good atmosphere, the waiter was happy to split the bill for each couple, nothing seemed too much bother, Duck was well received, most of our group had it, portions were huge, music was a little noisy at times but it was a busy Saturday night when... We had a light lunch here. It is possible to find lighter fare and smaller portions here. Don't be fooled by the huge amounts of meat being carried to other tables. We had potato pancakes and a one-sausage plate with sauerkraut and other small accoutrements. Beer, of course is a necessity. All was tasty and the portions were small enough... More

The service was patchy but more than compensated by the food. Beware that the servings are huge. Ordering duck meant a full half of the fowl, with a alrge helping of mashed potatoes and red cabbage! The desserts were also big portions. They could do without the accordion player who was more of an intrusion than a provider of background... More

We had lunch here and really enjoyed it. First of all the restaurant is located in a beautiful building - the Municipal Building - beautiful Art Nouveau decor....well located next to the Black Tower so easy to find. In fact there are three restaurants in this building: this one, a very posh French restaurant and a very nice cafe. This... More

unkind staff, ignored our's presence in the restaurant. We waited 20 minutes and left. But locals can make an order without a problem.

This place was recommended by our hotel. The atmosphere was nice with an accordion player playing in the background. The food was ok but the service was horrible. After waiting 35 minutes for anyone to approach the table, I asked for a waiter twice before anyone arrived. He seemed totally uninterested in all the tables he served. At one time... More
