Perfect view. Good food.

We really liked this restaurant because it had good traditional Czech food and on top of that, it offered a very nice view from the patio. The beer is tall and cold, always a plus! Be sure to sit outside for the best experience!

I have been to this restaurant several times since having the pleasure of accidentally discovering the door, hidden in a dark, narrow stairway, then walking in and watching one of the most amazing views in the city unfold before me. I've never been overcharged -- what the previous reviewer might have encountered is a “couvert” or cover charge, usually the... More

We used one of the popular guide books to find a good recommendation for a meal in the castle area. The restaurant is located in a lovely spot halfway down a staircase. We enjoyed the food (simple local stuff but nicely done) and the view of the city was very nice. The waiter was perfunctorily in his manner and a... More

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
