Beautiful view

Had a great view for dinner. Had a great dinner with excellent service. Highly recommend letting the waiter recommend local/regional wines. would not recommend the deconstructed strudel- thought I would try it, but doesn't come close to good strudel.

First night in Prague we made it to Mlynec for dinner and had quite a lovely night! It is right off the Charles bridge with a great view of the bridge and the river (make sure you reserve in advance and ask for a table on the terrace). Nice interior - kind of sleek and modern - good light fixtures.... More

Wide and good selection of dishes. The food here was really good and for a fair price. The waiters were really kind and helpful.

We booked this restaurant in advance for 21.30 and went after a concert at the Municipal Hall. We were shown to an outside table which had heaters on the roof so we had no need to worry about being cold. My husband and I both went for the taster menus of Czech plate and recommend. Both were priced £30-£35 +... More

Great restaurant with good view of the Charles Bridge and great food and wine. We had great service and great meal. Be sure to book early and book a table on the veranda. The Czech wines are worth a try although not the greatest, they are worthy of a taste.

Sunset on the balcony added to a great menu and meal with friends on the last night in town. Smaller portions with beautiful presentation but we didn't leave hungry or broke. Great staff, all English speaking.

I have two favourit restaurants in Prague. This is the one. The atmosphere beside the river and the Carls bridge make it unigue. We had an excellent meal there, and will especially recommend the tartar as really first class. Nice and friendly waiters. A reastaurant theat you want to return to.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I don't go anywhere without researching where I eat, I don't leave food to chance. Food is a massive part of my holiday. Mlynec had great reviews on tripadviser and oh boy! did it live up to its reputation and my high expectation. You need to book for this lovely restaurant overlooking the Charles... More

Mlynec is one of the best restaurants around. My wife and I have been here several times and we visit it every time we're in Prague. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and efficient and the views are great.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
