We went to this restaurant due to the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and we were very pleased that we did. We chose the Menu Degustation and had an excellent experience. The food was exceptional and Rodrigo's suggestions (and knowledge) of the wines were spot-on! Even when there was a slight problem encountered with one of the wines (no fault of... More

If you are looking for a fancy experience this is the right place. It's nice with good food but not a lot of options. Considering the rest of options in town I would say this is a good place to have some quality food.

The restaurant is supposed to be little more "elevated". The location is perfect with a great view to the famous Charles Bridge straigt out of the panoramic windows and to the castle from outside. The decoration reminds a bit on the charming 70's or whatever we imagine of the interieur of the socialism. Service is very attentive and the kitchen... More

Dear Olaf R, First of all, thank you so much for visiting our restaurant and for your pleasant review. I am glad that you received attentive service and well executed food. However, I am bit sorry that decor of our restaurant evoked you socialism (even though you described it as a charming 70´s), that something that we do not exactly... More

We booked to have dinner on Christmas Day after having attended the stunning 'Christmas Czech Mass' at the Klementinum - the setting and the performance of the mass was so exceptional, any restaurant was going to have a tough act to follow. Mlynec met the challenge, we were seated in the window with a fantastic view of the Karlsbrucke. The... More

We booked a table in the early autumn to celebrate New Years Eve at Restaurant Mlynec. The evening was truly spectacular as we enjoyed a six course degustation wine pairing menu which was delicious! The establishment was of course full for New Years Eve, however the service was impeccable and attention to detail faultless. With a bottle of bubbles to... More

I would like to recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys good food in a nice location. They offer several degustation menus an we took the Czech menu with accompanying wines which we appreciated a lot. The service was excellent. We booked our table in advance and arrived well on time in the restaurant. Although there was a free table... More

Several great tasting menu options as well as a la carte. I had the four course seasonal menu of the month and my dining partner had the five course favorites/specialties. We also both got the wine pairings which allowed us to try many different Czech wines, which are new to us and delicious. We shared bites of everything and every... More

This was our second trip to to this restaurant and we were't disappointed. The food was excellent, well prepared and served with excellent explanations. Being someone who has allergies I was once again impressed with how well it was managed by the kitchen. The service was good, the wine very pleasant. Overall another lovely dining experience from this restaurant.

Check it out! Good food, but lackadaisical service. I tried the tasting menu which was nice. There were happy to replace other items on the other tasting menu which was great.
