Beside the culinary experience, La Finestra wants to build the largest wine cellar of quality Italian wines in the Czech Republic. The adapted wine cellar was installed for this purpose.

We loved our dinner. The first clue that this would be an outstanding meal was the young man who took us to our table. We explained that we had a performance to get to. He assured us that we wouldn't have a problem getting there on time. Next came really great bread. Then the waiter came out to show us... More

The service was extraordinary - attentive, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere was casual - not too noisy, not too quiet. The fish was grilled simply and perfectly, as were the vegetables. The appetizers were terrific - fried zucchini with a red pepper aioli, and risotto with bacon. Not a "gourmet" meal, but just excellent ingredients flawlessly prepared.

Based on the reviews, we made arrangements to eat at La Finestra before traveling to Prague. We were not disappointed. The staff was exceptional - absolutely could not have been any more inviting or helpful. Service was first rate, not over bearing, friendly and knowledgeable - about both food and wine. The food was excellent. We had the fish special,... More

I visited the restaurant yesterday and - to put it kindly - if not being invited for the lunch by business partners, I would be rather angry with myself for choosing this restaurant. First: the staff. The waiter came to our table annoyingly too often and stayed way too long. At the beginning, he spent about 15 minutes solely on... More

Where to start? I think most of the reviews told almost everything. If you are looking for the best Italian cuisine (in Prague :) ) just go there. I think, that probably doesn't matter whether you are here for the lunch or the dinner... you will enjoy it anytime. Service is magnificent, cheerful, knowledgeable, friendly and very professional unlike few... More

My husband and I ate this evening at La Finestra. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the food was wonderful and all the staff were very attentive to our needs. We are in Prague for a week and we plan on going back again before we leave.

We are traveling with a group with different tastes and that could be a challenge. However, this restaurant was up to the task and more. A fresh selection of fish were presented to the table, with an explanation of the type of fish and the choice of preparation. A selection of various cuts of meat were also brought table side... More

An excellent dining experience. The food is absolutely brilliant. Try the roasted octopus: mouth-wateringly delicious! The service is also excellent, as is the impressively long wine list. Don't expect to spend under the equivalent of 50 euros ahead, but it's worth it. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is situated in Prague 1, walking distance from the old town square and less than 200 m from the four seasons. They have a wonderful selection of meats. The sides are generous and orginal. Multiple amuse bouche interludes during your meal. Cooking/service is excellent, the staff is very attentive. The wine list is generous and very comprehensive.
