Description: La Finestra in Cucina was opened in 2009 as the second restaurant of Italian chef Riccardo Lucque. The restaurant features an open kitchen where you can observe Chef Tomáš Černý performing his artistry as he prepares your chosen meal. La Finestra specializes in meat dishes. Beside the culinary experience, La Finestra wants to build the largest wine cellar of quality Italian wines in the Czech Republic. The adapted wine cellar was installed for this purpose.

Dined here with my family and friends a couple of weeks ago,we all enjoyed our meals, I ordered the sea bass grilled, it was probably the best fish I've ever eaten. I highly recommend dining here.

Nine of us had Christmas Eve dinner and enjoyed the ambiance, service and food. Given the price, this is a restaurant for a special occasion, but well worth it.

Finestra used to be our favorite restaurant in Prague, but with the fame, the place is sadly beginning to slack. They've lost their exquisite attention to detail. The sea bass is still to die for. Have it grilled and not baked under salt. but either way, great fresh fish. And a good selection. The meats however have gone terribly wrong.... More

After trying to get in on a Friday night and booking ahead for Saturday, we were excited for a bowl of pasta as a change from typical Czech cuisine. The staff were friendly but we were sat in the corner away from the ambience of the main dining area and therefore felt somewhat neglected at times. Pasta starter of deer... More

Delicious experience, charming waiters, excellent service, warm atmosphere in a beautiful, vaulted building, and the food was first class. Fresh fish bought to your table to choose from and they will cook it any way you desire. A typical Italian/European menu and I had one of the best starters I have ever had, beetroot with a Brie foam, light and... More

After a few very heavy (though delicious) Czech meals we were ready for a change. While walking through the Old Town we passes this cozy place. Of course we needed a reservation so we made one for a few nights later. The meal was worth the wait. Delicious homemade pastas and fabulous Italian wines. One of the higher priced restaurants... We wandered in here on a cold New Year's day without a reservation and despite it being a very busy night were well looked after. The service is crisp and professional without any annoying hovering and the food was as good as any high end Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in. Including in Italy. Add an extensive but not intimidating... More

We’ve been in this restaurant for a dinner in the evening of December 21st 2014. The start was not so good, because they lost our reservation. But as I could show them their confirmation email on my iPhone, they arranged a table for us anyway. They managed this situation very professional. After we have been seated a perfect evening with... This restaurant is superb. Every morsel of food was utterly delicious and the price so reasonable. This is a meal I will never forget.

We were in Prague for the week of Thanksgiving and this was our Turkey Day meal. And it was the best meal of our trip! We were immediately offered champagne.... and the service was impeccable from that moment on. If you're tired of touristy fried foods and want a nourishing, delicious meal--- make a reservation now!
