La Finestra in Cucina was opened in 2009 as the second restaurant of Italian chef Riccardo Lucque. The restaurant features an open kitchen where you can observe Chef Tomáš Černý performing his artistry as he prepares your chosen meal. La Finestra specializes in meat dishes. Beside the culinary experience, La Finestra wants to build the largest wine cellar of quality Italian wines in the Czech Republic. The adapted wine cellar was installed for this purpose.

We really enjoyed the warm atmosphere. The service was excellent. The menu choices and the presentation of the aged beef selections were impressive. The preparation was very good. All well presented. We would definitely return.

We were a party of 10 and from the minute we walked in to the time we left we couldn't have been happier with everything. We were seated at the back of the restaurant which was in a nook with beautiful brick vaulted ceilings. The wait staff was wonderful. We were given many little "freebies"...a small appetizer tasting, something to... More

We dined here on our first night in Prague at our hotel concierge's recommendation. The food was delicious...I can highly recommend the crab burger and the wild boar pappardelle and was far too full to contemplate dessert! My only gripe was we wanted to try some Czech wine and instead of the sommelier following our wishes he recommended a German... More

We had never been at such a fine restaurant before. When the waiter presented us the meny we didnt understand half of what he was saying, but two words did we understand: "salmon" and "pasta", and we immediately said "yes!". And oboy what an amazing meal it became. It became a journey in a gastrnonomical landscape we had never experienced... More

We entered the restaurant for Friday lunch, no table was booked, but lucky for us - they had some tables available. A very nice restaurant with high vault inspired room and nice brick walls and a marvellous staff from start to the end. They speak English very good and were available and helpful without being "pushy". We went for a... More

My boyfriend and I visited October 2014 and were so pleased with our visit! We walked in as we had read other reviews and were not disappointed. The food was excellently prepared and fresh. - All the different types of fish were shown to you in advance of preparation. We also had great wines and the kitchen granted us with... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
