Fantastic

One of my favorite things in Prague. Delicious, interesting meals, great service. I especially loved the pasta, but there was a huge range of meat & fish choices also.

In a city of many Italian restaurants, I'm glad we chose this one for a late dinner this evening. The service was friendly and helpful especially when we mentioned a nut allergy. The mood in the restaurant was perfect. The noise level didn't require us to yell across the table and yet it was lively. The food had a great... More

One of my favorite restaurants in Prague. Fresh food, great selection of meat, fish (didn't try as vegetarian though, but my friends were very happy with their meals). And obviously, amazing pasta. Big selection of truly great wine and last but not least, perfect service that makes whole experience just unforgettable. Must visit restaurant.

This is my fourth visit at this Italian success in the heart of the old town and my enthusiasm has yet to abate, although my opinion has found some nuance. Dinning at La Finestra remains a pleasant and vibrant experience and some of the dishes are as satisfying as some of the best I have had in Italy. If you... More

This was an exceptional experience. A large rowdy group, we were warmly welcomed by the manager and then well hosted by the professional waiters. The food was sumptuous, veal broth, sea food burger which included soft shell crab and one of the best simple pastas I have ever tasted. Lubor Pelikal, the patient sommelier spent a considerable part of his... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
