We had an average dinner in this restaurant. We didn't ordered any starters, only two main courses and desserts. My pasta with shrimps was okay, but not the best pasta dish I have eaten. My partner had pheasant and it was very dry. He was little disappointed. When ordering our desserts there were... read more

The sad thing is, I had a great experience at this restaurant on a Friday evening with my mother -- great service, great food, nice atmosphere. I decided to take my girlfriend there the following Sunday (yes, two nights later) and it was a different place -- horrible service, terrible food and zero atmosphere. The waiters were very rude and... More

There it is a nice atmosphere , the service was fast , the food average , too pricy for what it was offered and very touristic. The only thing is if there is close to 12am closing time, the waiters tell you to finish and start clearing the terrace even if there are still costumers on the tables.

While I have been an avid TripAdvisor user, I have not done a good job sharing information. With tonight's experience, however, I felt a responsibility to log this review. We were in Prague to visit a child attending a college semester here. First, what a great city. Second, be smarter than we were and do a quick check before going... More

Like others, we were drawn by the romantic appearance of the restaurant. Can't fault the food, wide choice and cooked nicely. Wine was very expensive compared to other restaurants. Service was ok but didn't appreciate being charged for the bread which was presented as if it was complimentary. Group on the next table had to send back their food as... More

The restaurant looks very nice and romantic... to trap customers!! I didn't see the reviews and just got into this restaurant as I was hungry and the place looked lovely and calm. I now understand why we were the only customers that day! Everything was expensive and the portions were very small. The waiter put bread on my table. Fortunately,... More

Restaurant looks nice from the outside, inside is ok too. Food was ok. Only annoying sounds from the waiters phone, some cb radio. Wine only I kind per glass. And very amazing, 10% extra tax at the end...... State Tax?!? Don't know which state but definitely not mine. Conclusion, don't go here if you want to enjoy the real Czech... More

Advice to waiter: makes notes of your order as your memory is not as good as your knowledge of English. I asked for roast potatoes and got croquette instead. My sons steak and sauce was still cold and the 'dumpling' without gouache was just bread without crusts. Shame as otherwise lovely ambience

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
