Perfect chicken schnitzel

This is a Unesco site. Cute inside. Could use a little updating. We both ordered the chicken schnitzel and...wow. The best, even after a tour thru Germany. If you want something cozy off the beaten path, I would recommend it.

We entered the restaurant as we had no choice - it was freezing outside and it was late. The restaurant was completely empty, with only one apparent member of staff, the waiter. He sat us at the front, close to the door which he kept opening to go outside so that we were freezing. The decor was terrible, there were... More

Very bad option. Poor service. Very expensive. Poor food. They do not accept credit cards. Horrible cost/quality ratio. To be avoided.

The restaurant looks lovely from the outside but trust me, this is not the case. Don't be fooled like we were Firstly, we were seated next to the rear door within a couple of minutes we found that this was where they entered the restaurant to bring the meals drinks etc in and out.....if they didn't leave the door wide... The service and food did not live up to expectations, which is a real shame because the restaurant has such potential. The owner was unfriendly, the waiter did his job but that's about it. The restrooms are via the back of the restaurant, then outside through a courtyard and into the next building - but don't expect the staff to... More

Looked great from the outside but that was misleading. Food was luke warm, service was poor and the bill was expensive. The waiter dropped 4 drinks, not a problem as accidents happen until they charged us on the bill! He said his boss would take out of his wages. This is an old trick as on here this has been... More

Small portions at a large cost. Looked cosy from outside but inside it was a mess. Pasta was not ready and had lumps. We went for a second dinner directly after leaving this place.

A group of 8 of us thought we would try this place as it was near where we were staying and looked good from the outside. Looks are deceptive though and what followed left a bad taste in the mouth! We ordered beers as the wine was very expensive. The waiter brought the drinks on a tray, balanced the tray... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
