We happened upon this while cruising the town and are glad we did! Lovely Italian dishes - especially the ones featuring the local mushrooms. Wonderful wine list - short but varied. Probably the best server we experienced on our European trip. Knowledgeable, pleasant and available, but not intrusive. He remembered us on our second visit (and what we had to... More

On a walk around, I went off the main path from the Charles Bridge to Wenceslas Square and stumbled across Alla Stella Nera. I had not done my research, so went by the look and went in. It was quiet, and I only ordered the goulash. Nothing special and the dumplings weren't good. Got the bill and headed into the... More

We walked past this little restaurant & thinking how cosy it looked decided to have our last evening in Prague's special meal there. What a mistake not to have looked on trip advisor first! The ambiance was quite nice but it was not buzzy - food was ok but it didn't feel like a normal style restaurant. Prices were the... More

Tasteless, small & very expensive main course. They charge us for bread, olive oil, salt & Pepper 30czk per person. The glasses & carafe was a bit dirty. So our conclusion don't went there! Im sure you'll find a better restaurant around the corner

We had dinner here two nights ago. As we were touring the town, we spotted this restaurant and were attracted by the wonderful atmosphere of its interior. With small tables, comfortable chairs, dimmed lights the restaurant had a very romantic feel to it. The first thing that really annoyed me was to spot on the last page of the menu... More

Today evening we were unfortunate to fell into a trap of Alla Stella Nera. The place is nicely arranged and there is a light jazzy music in the background, but: - our order was mixed up and we were forced to pay higher amount, - the bill contains _mandatory_ 10% tip disguised as "state tax", - the staff is terrible,... I was in prague with my boyfriend and 2 friends and we found what we thought was a little hidden restuarant beautifully done inside and couldnt wait to go in. Once in the place was empty apart from 2 people but we thought we would give it a go. The young waiter (very in experienced with customer service and people... More

I dont ever really comment however This was a terrible choice service was poor to begin with followed by terrible food. Once we complained about the quality being so poor we couldnt eat it the service became intimidating and agressive. Worst restaurant and dinning experience i have ever had. My advice do not visit !!!!

Was attracted to this place as it was slightly off the main square and looked smart for a special lunch. Low ceilings reminded me of cloisters and had pretty lights, pictures, flowers, arty corks which I really liked as adding to the atmosphere. The food was good, tender meat particularly the pheasant with forest fruit. I had chicken with balsamic.... More

By chance, I discovered that there is dish not listed in the menu which is " Spaghetti alla Bottarga" (Tuna fish eggs), a speciality from Sardinia. You have to ask for it to the owner of the restaurant. I prefer cocked without garlic, so that you can really appreciate the Bottarga. Excellent dish!! Because in Prague, I made the experiment...
