Best Svíčková in Prague

This restaurant was recommended by searching in the internet to have good Svíčková. So i give it a try and was really worth. I eat Svíčková with Dumplings and was delicious. My friend food was also very good and they stay fully satisfied. Very good restaurant also for having Czech beer (Pilsen).

Been here a couple of times. The service is always fast and friendly and the restaurant is very crowded and a bit smoky, just the way I like it. Especially the czech meat portions are simple and good and the beer is delicious. The kitchen does their job well. Recommended for relaxed dinner, accompanied with a couple of beers.

Very tasty meal and perfect service. Exccellent Pilsner beer, good location. It was a bit noisy due to many people - reservation needed. But if you're looking for traditional Czech restaurant with polite staff, it is worth to visit.

This restaurant located far away from Prague city center is a great place for having a quick lunch enjoying some of the classical Czech specialties: duck or pork with cream, cranberries sauce and dumplings. Once you enter the place you will feel confident because it's full of workers enjoying their daily menu. The service is very efficient and nice, and... More

Really nice traditional restaurant with local food, local atmosphere, nice beer and inexpensive (certainly compared to the same food in City centre). Lot of local people seem to prefer this place rather than trendy fast food in the mall at some 100m. The service is very friendly and you are served rapidly. The beer comes always in a minute :-)

It's not easy being a vegetarian in Central Europe, and I'd been subsisting on pizza for too many days. This is an authentic Czech restaurant (very close to the Clarion where we stayed for a meeting), that had 2 dishes I could eat. The pasta primavera was good on top, too oily underneath. My carnivore husband enjoyed his veal cheeks.... More

At least once a week, I am having a lunch in here. It is a little bit expensive, but the quality of food compensates it. Well made czech cuisine (somehow classical and innovative at the same time) and fabulous steaks, as well as helpfull staff, make this restaurant best in the neigbourhood by far! Definitely the place to have a... More

Nothing special nothing bad. A regular restaurant near our hotel, that offers selection of czech food and regular drinking dishes. They offer few kinds of beer and some selection of vines. I had grilled pork neck with a kind of homemade pancakes, fried onions and garlic. There was also white cabbage as a side dish, which was just not of... More

Only a few steps away from the Clarion where we were staying, my husband and I enjoyed a nice meal here. The portions are huge. Beer on tap is what can be expected (pilsner, etc.) The staff was a bit gruff but overall friendly. Everyone else in the bar seemed to be local, which is always a good sign :)... More
