Best food I've had in a long time. They manage to serve lamb, rabbit, and duck selections at the same time and did a great job with the sauces, starch, vegetables, and desserts. Good wine and beer selection. Warm and friendly staff. Three levels of dining. Good for famiies as well as couples with a fussball machine on the second... More

My family decided to try out dinner at Chez Marcel on June 26th after reading a review on it in the International New York Times ("36 Hours in Prague"). We were not at all disappointed! The atmosphere was like a French restaurant on the Champs-Elysées. The service was excellent and friendly. The waiter (unfortunately, forgot his name) was patient with... More

We enjoyed a nice evening diner after a long day if conquering castles in the area. Our waiter was attentive and humorous. Our meals were well prepared, served timely and enjoyed and shared by our whole family. A chocolate desert was a great ending to a wonderful meal. If in Prague again we will stop here again.

The food was way above average. The staff went out of their way to guarantee that we get a great table. It was so good the first night that we chose to make it our last meal in Prague.

This trendy and friendly restaurant provided one of our best meals in Prague. The foie gras proved a superb choice, just barely seared. Both the lamb chops and the pork chop deserve rave reviews. If cigarette smoke bothers you, sit at the back of the no-smoking section far from the windows, so smoke from the outside or the next room... More

We read about Chez Marcel in one of the travel books, and it was a great recommendation. The food was delicious and service was good. We had the following for dinner when we visited in October 2013. - Mushroom with foie gras - My husband enjoyed the foie gras and the rich flavors from the sauce. - Slow roasted pork... More

This is an intimate welcoming little cafe in the old town of Prague. I ended up using more of my French than my Czech, which is limited to "excuse me?", and we shared an onion soup and a cheese plate. He spent the afternoon at the bar while I explored the neighborhood. I would heartily recommend this bar/restaurant to Yelpers... More

Passed this restaurant a few times before popping in and why did we leave it so long. Great coffee , cocktails, wine and not forgetting the best |Fillet steak and chips and not a bad price. My friend had the French onion soup and said it was the best she had ever had.

We went to this nice french restaurant with my girlfriend a to celebrate our anniversary. We had prepaid menu offer for two 'French specialities for two' containing beef cheeks with mashed potatoes, creme brulee and a glass of wine Bordeaux Superior. First problem was with our seating. Even though we booked a non-smoking table we were seated next to smokers.... More
