Very nice restaurant

We ate here twice during our recent trip to Prague. The first night we went without children (they were worn out from all the walking! ) The onion soup was excellent as well as the fish I had. It was served with truffle sauce and grilled veggies. The only complaint was that the veggies were a bit... read more

Desparate for a nearby, last minute table for a large group, we went here. It is sort of a country french look. Fairly loud. Our waiter was quite surly and the service was very slow. Two of us had the lamb chops, and despite being given sharp knives, it resisted cutting. My spinich had so much salt it was inedible.... More

Went with mixed group of Brits and Czech friends who had recommended the place. 9 people who ordered a mix of starters and mains or just soup or in one instance chips and a baguette. One of us ordered tomato free salad because highly allergic but came with tomatoes, baguette didn't come. I asked for coquilles St Jacques and got... More

Walking through the door here was like walking into a wee corner of France. they have tastefully decorated the interior and the food on offer is sumptuous. We had cows cheek and it was magnificently cooked. It fell apart and every mouthful was an utter delight. I would love to go back tomorrow! By Russian standards it's quite pricey but... More

Spent a few days in Prague over Xmas, and fortunately found this little gem, which was open over the Holiday Season. Consistently excellent food, great wines, staff happy and helpful. Would highly recommend for a light lunch, and a full blown dinner.

we stopped for lunch - food just OK and atmosphere lacking - but if a put type menu and good spot for a "brew" is in order, you might enjoy

We flew from Stansted and arrived early afternoon, just ahead of our friends who flew from Heathrow. Checked into our hotel, Casa Marcelo and had about 45 minutes to kill before our friends were due to arrive. We asked the hotel manager to suggest a local place where we could get a coffee and cake and the advice was Chez... More

We came here for lunch and found the service was very good. The menu is quite limited but the food was of a reasonably good standard. There was a choice of beer and the house red wine was very drinkable. Coffee also good. Overall good value for money. The day we went it was quite smoky as there were quite... More
