Great food and value for money!

Great tasty food, affordable prices. Portions are bigger than in majority of Prague's restaurants, yet two to three times lower prices as the restaurant is kilometer or two of the main tourist attractions.

We ordered two Pilsner Urquells (40 Kč for 0.5l) and since it is tankove, the beer was delicious and fresh. To eat we ordered Chaalupnická zelnice se šlehačkou, Village cabbage soup with cream (45 Kč) which had a very flavorful broth, but the potatoes tasted... More

Liked this place so much we've been twice this week! Large traditional Czech dishes, well priced (I had large pork plus steamed vegetables for about 170). Place always seems to be busy with tourists and locals alike and the staff speak Russian and English. Rather smokey but it is Czech pub. Beer is fantastic, pilsner urquell is just the world's... The restaurant is quite characteristic, the traditional food good and abundant and cheap. If searching for a good lunch/dinner on low budget, this is the place

Very nice big pub and restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. They have Pilsner on tap. We had the dinner there and every food was excellent pork knuckle, steak or traditional czech food. It's quite big pub but in the evening it`s full so I recommend to make reservation. Worth visiting. The position is very good next to Andel... More

This place is about 1,5km from the old town but very close to the hotel I stayed. When you enter and look down the stairs you feel you're walking into a pub. The restaurant/pub has a smoking and a non smoking zone. The place was packed on a Monday night and an interesting fact is that the vast majority of... More
