I had a few restaurant recommendations already but decided to ask the concierge for a nice view since the weather was great. They recommended this place. There are two facilities, one in the city, another near the castle on the hill. This particular one was near the castle so don't e confused by the 'piano' location vs the 'terra' since...

Food was good, service was fine, but the view was spectacular. It is in a great location right on the way down the hill from the castle. Great for a warm lunch on a cold day of touring a beautiful city. Very generous portions. I'd recommend sharing.
Slept late and got a late start to tour Prague Castle. As we passed Villa Richter decided to have an early lunch then do our touring. Great idea! We each had a bowl of their cabbage soup then dessert (tiramisu) and coffee. Terrific food, wonderful view in the solarium (because it was a sunny but chilly day) overlooking a vineyard...

The food and service were excellent. From the restaurant you have a great view over Prague and I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in summer when you can sit outside... We will certainly be back then!
Nothing wrong with this place but wouldn't rush back. Pleasant view across Prague - food was good standard- service good - but we went on Tuesday night and there were only one other couple there.
The restaurant itself after a long-day of walking and sigh.tseeing was a pleasant surprise. the menu was per-set for our group of 5: a tomato soup nothing like Campbell's - sweet and deep red but served lukewarm, a meat loaf which I did not touch, thank God, because then horse meat scandal broke out the week after, and homemade fresh...

We stopped here after walking around Prague castle. The staff were great, very attentive and polite. We had a light lunch with a couple of glasses of the house white. It was very pleasant, nice view, good food, good service and a nicely chilled glass or two, it was a perfect spot for lunch and we would stop, there again.
Stopped for lunch on a very cold day, white table cloths and almost silver service for reasonably priced soup and bread perhaps better for Dinner. High vaulted glass conservatory dining room gives a good view of Prague.
This restaurant definetely has one of the best views in Prague. I experienced such atmosphere only in Kampa Park. We had dinner there, meals were very good but the best was the wonderful view at lights of Prague.
