When I was planning to come to Prague with my friends (it was in November last year) I was looking for a restaurant with live music, but not a noisy folk music. I have found Bily Konicek and it was a good decision. I called them one day before and asked for a table near the stage and as we... More

We popped in here one night for a couple of drinks, and stumbled upon a gem! So, we booked a table for the next night, and were even given the option to pick out our table. The hostess was wonderfully polite and helpful. When we arrived the next night for dinner, we were seated quickly and efficiently, perfect spot, good... More

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, different jazz band each night. Food is good (could be hotter) but wine is expensive so drink the local beer. When we received the bill they had added about 15% for service charge, this is not shown on any menus and is a sneaky way of getting you to pay for something that should... More

You descend into 12th century roman cellars which house a number of tables, bar and small stage. The food is both European and traditional and very reasonable The jazz was a good accompaniment to the food and the service was reasonable. All in all it was a good experience eating somewhere different to your normal restaurant.Check their website for photos and... More

This place is right on the old town square, in 12th century wine cellars. Its a great place dinner or drinks whilst listening to great live jazz. The atmosphere is laid back, the jazz is excellent (we saw Lee Andrew Davison) and the staff are friendly and efficient - overall we had a great time, and the venue is really... More

We went to this jazz lounge and we were nicely welcomed and taken to our tables. There was a live band which was incredible and we really liked it. But we waited and waited and waited for someone to come and take our orders and no one came. All the people around us were in the same situation and all... More

Where do I start. When wandering around the Old Town Square, I had seen the Konicek JandB and thought it'd be nice for me and the other half to go and have a drink. So after a dinner elsewhere (El Toro Negro, V nice) we went in and asked for a table for a drink. The place was just over... More

Dear valued guest, I would like to appologise for your experience. I will try and find out what has happened. Eve though it is not an excuse, I had a new girl in the restaurant as a hired help and so perhaps, this is what the problem was. I have allready, irrespective of this review, planed a staff training for... More
