Been here a couple of times, you have to really! Staff great at talking you through the different types of Absinthe on offer, try ones which you couldn't have in the UK. Also, ask for your absinthe flamin', they put on a show for you.

Nice cozy spot. The staff was very helpful in explaining the liquor to us. A must for any first timers!

Me and my husband went there yestarday, and I have to say, we had an excellent service from Milan! He was very helpfull, friendly and polite! Driks were very tasty! You can also take your drink away, which is really cool!

I didn't know anything about absinthe but this is the perfect place to try this mysterious drink based on wormwood, which was banned for some decades but is now perfectly legal. It's an intimate café, like an artists' hangout, and the waitress asked us questions before deciding which of the 20 or so absinthes would suit us. We liked it... More

Half of the pictures above are for Absinthe Time and others are from Absintherie which is a completely separate business that we also visited. Absintherie is super touristy and we found both the environment and service at Absinthe Time much more intimate. At Absinthe Time we were served by Boris who spoke excellent English and whom we understand works there... More

This is a great place to try absinthe for the first time! It's a very relaxed atmosphere with an extremely helpful staff who are willing to talk you through the different kinds of absinthe and the different ways to enjoy it. We did the typical French style where they drip water over a sugar cube into the absinthe to cut... More

Made from wormwood that eventually produces a 60-70% alcohol content, I think you have to already have hair on your chest if you are going to take a liking to "Absinthe". One cool place to sample it is at The Absinthe Shop. However, I think if you have more than one drink you will end up like one previous customer,... More

Nice layout, many niches with tables, the typical Absinthe interior with prints and accessories. Helpful staff, helps do choose from the big selection of drinks/styles and prepares the drink at the table. Reasonable prices, low key music. A charming place.
